1. This used to be mine- it's truly a regular gigger's delight! Lightweight, balances perfectly, with all the tones and features you'll ever need. Glad to see that Gareth has taken such good care of this...
2. Hey, I recognise these! Both used to be mine a good few years ago now- they've still even got the little marker arrows I stuck on the control plates at the time... good luck with the sale!
3. Thanks to both of you Andy and Dave- the gear's great!

Recently bought an Aguilar Tone Hammer from Dave- I took delivery of it yesterday and am very pleased with it so far! Everything was pretty straightforward in the midst of what I can only assume were difficult personal circumstances for Dave, who nevertheless did his best to keep me informed throughout our dealings. Thankyou mate... another good Basschatter! Etienne
5. Should you consider splitting these at all... Can I have first dibs on the cab please?
6.
Doh! Dibs if it falls through for any reason.
Just waiting for the payment to come through from anty this afternoon, so I'm 99.9% certain that this is a done deal. Will let you know if anything changes though!
7.
would you do it £80 to northern ireland (postcode BT42 4EB)
I've just PM'd you mate!
8. Still for sale! I've just updated the trade options in the original post. Also, after some thought, I would prefer to keep this as a UK-only sale.... Cheers!
9.
VAT? There isn't taxes in the EU
PM'd
10.
Italy
Just got a rough quote from Interparcel- think you'd be looking at around £25 inc. VAT to ship it to Italy, so I'll be looking for approximately £105 total. PM me if you want to discuss further!
11.
International shipping?
Possibly, depends on whereabouts you are. I would have to charge the shipping costs on top of the £80 asking price though...
12. Another vote for 'by ear' here! I bought my first bass back when I was 15, with money I'd saved up from doing chores for my parents. It was the same day that Kurt Cobain was announced dead on the news (can still clearly remember hearing about it from the car radio on the way home from the music shop with my dad). Later the same year, I received one of those all-in-one stereo boomboxes with a CD player in it for my birthday, and my godfather gave me the Police's Greatest Hits to try it out with- good choice! From that moment on, I've always transcribed stuff by ear to this very day and have got by pretty well (it helps that I was blessed with perfect pitch), although I must say it's helped me greatly to learn some basic music theory (scales, modes, intervals, chord construction, etc) to back up the info my ears are telling me. Unfortunately, I still haven't got the hang of reading music, but that's my own fault for not applying myself more!
13. Bump for one and only price drop!
14. Hi folks, I've decided to put my MXR M-80 DI+ on the block! I bought this from steviedee back in April this year, and have only gigged it once, as I pretty much always use the DI on my G-K head for live stuff. Here's the link to Stevie's FS thread, containing photos and the MXR blurb: MXR It's in exactly the same great condition as when I bought it, so £80 seems reasonable to me! Comes in the original box, complete with instructions and a fresh Duracell 9V battery fitted. Price also includes mainland UK shipping. No offers please! Will trade for an EBS Multicomp (Black Label, True Bypass model) or a Tech 21 VT Bass pedal. Will also consider a Tech 21 Leeds pedal that I can modify for that Entwistle crunch... Please PM if you're interested, thanks for looking! ***EDIT: NOW SOLD, PENDING USUAL BASSCHAT STUFF*** Etienne
15. Giving this a quick bump for Jake- he's a newbie here on Basschat, but I can vouch for him being a very nice bloke with excellent taste in gear... get yourselves a bargain!
16. Just took delivery of Andy's GK 800RB this afternoon- great amp! The sale was arranged entirely via PM, so didn't even have a chat with him, but he definitely comes across as a nice bloke... Thanks again for a smooth Basschat deal mate!
17.
Etienne - you'll love it!! And if you don't - please give me first dibs. I want a back-up as I love mine so much
No probs mate, will do! I've played through a few rented 800RBs in the past and loved the sound- really looking forward to cranking this up when it arrives...
18.
What you need now is my 4X10RBH
Haha! Don't worry Richard, I'll be running it through my pair of BF Compacts... should be adequate!
19. PM'd a short while ago- hope I got in first!
20. +1! I've had my eye on this for ages now, and at that price would take it in a heartbeat if the OP would reconsider the non-postage issue...
21. I've just taken delivery of a custom tort scratchplate for my mongrel Fender Jazz this afternoon from Howard. It's such an amazingly good fit that I could actually go and do a gig without reinstalling the screws! There's a very good reason why so many use and recommend the Bass Doc's services on this forum- he's a pleasure to deal with and turns out 1st-class goods, and in super-quick time too! Thankyou very much Howard- I'm very pleased indeed! Etienne
