  1. Beautiful bass!!
  2. Bought a high value (£3.5k) bass from Will last year. Delivered promptly (& safely) & he then arranged collection of a bass that he took in px (which I packed in the same box) which I received payment for the day after it was delivered to him. Highly recommended & completely trustworthy.
  3. Absolutely luverly! 😃 (I have an elder brother….)
  4. Not strictly bass related per se, but as it features some great bass playing, hopefully it qualifies 😀
  5. Beautiful bass, none more eighties!! GLWTS 😀
  6. No probs, thanks for letting me know. GLWTS, lovely bass! Thanks Dave
  7. Any trades or sale only? Thanks Dave
  8. It’s a Brian May bass!! 😀
  9. Cool enough to appear in one of rock musics most recognisable promo vids? 😀
  10. Black!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. More than anyone is (sensibly) prepared to pay I suspect! 😀
  12. None more eighties! 😀
  13. Nice! 😀
  14. Interesting anecdote from Brian May when recollecting his collaboration with EHV on the ‘starfleet’ project in 1983. At one point during the session they swapped guitars (and 2 more personal instruments than BMs red special and EVHs ‘Frankenstein’ I would imagine you’re unlikely to top). The result? ”I sounded like me & Eddie sounded like Eddie!”
  15. Main one was the Spaced Invaders (80s NR tribute band). Played throughout Devin with them for about 6 years
  16. I live in North Devon and, up until my decision to stop playing live a couple of years ago, was gigging regularly throughout Devon with a couple of bands (particularly an 80s tribute band which were always busy....). As mentioned previously though it is a large county so be prepared to travel if you want to gig regularly. Used to play regularly in Exeter (places like The Prospect, General Buller & Corn Exchange) and Plymouth as well as in and around North Devon. The Palladium Club in Bideford (pre lockdown!) hold a weekly jam session on a Tuesday night which is a good way to make contacts, introduce yourself etc Cheers Dave
  17. One of Nick Smith’s ebasses?
  18. The two that fit the criteria for me (maybe because I used to gig both in a rock covers band & the intros seemed to grab the audience’s attention initially) are; Riverboat Song (Ocean Colour Scene) and Vegas 2 Times (Stereophonics) Both have great intro riffs, then.....😀
