3. Windows 10 based laptop (sorry should have said!) Thanks for the responses, will check out the options! πŸ˜€
4. Hi all Don’t know if this has been posted before but can anybody recommend some software I can download for basic instrument recording I don’t need anything too fancy, just the ability to record separate tracks (independently) over a (selectable) drum pattern, then loop so I can jam over it (guitar) Any advice/recommendations welcomed! πŸ˜€ Thanks Dave
5. Always loved this appearance πŸ˜€ https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0ahUKEwjo8NDmpI3bAhUEJcAKHZhkAdQQtwIICjAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fm.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DpHrRqFZYwNo%26autoplay%3D1&usg=AOvVaw0u-UWFkPtVr1sWFwVe_xjz
6. Gotta be the Rocky soundtracks for me, themes fit the films perfectly! πŸ˜€
7. 2 x 10 price & pics please? πŸ˜€
8. 'Let's Dance' was SO good! πŸ˜€
9.
That bass line was written by Martin Lavender
Solid (white) gold!! πŸ˜€
10. Chris Martin absolutely nailed 'Don't Look Back In Anger' - great stuff
11.
The Hot Space album is a shift towards disco pop. Apparently, Brian May hated it.
Although, being pedantic, Another One Bites The Dust was on 'The Game' album released two years before 'Hot Space' πŸ˜€ Continuing the disco theme, I also loved Murder On The Dancefloor (Sophie Ellis Bexter with a great bass line from Guy Pratt) πŸ˜€
12.
This https://youtu.be/5eHNbhsh6Nc Awesome.
That Kingbass doesn't sound bad either!!
13.
Thanks. It's what made me dust off my fretless.
Studio bass part originally played on an upright by the immaculate JD (used a fretless electric when playing it live with band in the 70's) As previously said, cracking song!
14. Queen - Killer Queen, as well as 'March Of The Black Queen' and 'White Queen (as it began)'
15. "It''s my life" is still a staple part of my 80s band set list. Always goes down well (although am often asked 'who was that one by'). Great fun to play too! πŸ˜€
