That's a very busy line Peter! I'm really impressed on your tracking of those semi Quavers, and well learned too 😁Absolutely fantastic. I need to borrow a laptop as I want that sound.

Yeah the Doom is Brilliant, but The Doom 2 has more regular muff like fuzz options! A nice improvement,I'd love to try one. The fuzz section on the Okto Njos is seperate,so can be used on its own. For what these go for its cheaper than the alternatives and does the job just as Well! The octave is a Brucie bonus and you can always set it for a very different sound to your regular octave. -

I too sold a Mastatron in favour of the Red Ripper, despite the size difference. It's a more versatile pedal😁 -

The Mastatron is very synthy and sounds like the mammoth! But has an Impedance control,so it does work with actives, or with other pedals placed before it. The Mastatron/Mammoth arnt quite as dynamic (like a filter)as the others, but can be touch sensitive. Both great choices 😁 -

A Combined filter with fuzz would be a great idea! Tom from Cog could help you with that. As far as fuzz which sound synthy as in slightly filtered, the Red Ripper is a perfect choice, the prunes n custard is a similar sound as both are dynamic with envelope qualities but the P&C Is a lot more organic sounding. One of my faves was the 3 leaf Doom, which can be configured to sound like a muff (Which isn't a synthy fuzz! I've always had both types) but also is a dynamic moog like fuzz, with hints of octave up and ring mod. Other rarer fuzzes are the Co pilot orbit which is a gated fuzz and ring modulator in one pedal! I've never tried one s they are rare and the Subdecay Flying Tomato (again I haven't tried one) A great available option is the Emma Octo Nojs which is a synthy dynamic fuzz (similar to Red Ripper/Doom) but with an added octave in one pedal. I've a big love for the Mooer sweeper which is cheap and tiny and is a clone of the bassballs which is a twin filter with added fuzz! Sounds wicked with an octave pedal 😁 -

Thanks Peter! You're a diamond, sterling patches as usual 😘

Zvex do a synthy fuzz in a tiny 1590a enclosure! The Fuzzolo I've never tried one, but I'd imagine it's a less featured version of the mighty Mastatron😁

I know! A little tidying of the back end, or a slight extension on the pickguard 😁
-
For stinky poos and giggles! Not quite, but fits the neck perfectly 😂 maybe a slightly longer custom version. It would be an interesting project.

So get a cheap 414! A duncan pickup, And do it! Would a sterling pickguard work with the 414 neck they arn't a million miles away. I've a sterling pickguard I can donate to the cause (it's a funky green pearl)

The preamp looks like an East U retro/uni pre. Great bass,, and John's preamps bring any bass to another level, even set flat! At £219 that's a steal as the preamp alone is nigh on £200

Sterlings have a ceramic pickup! Stingrays Alnico. My sterling has a Nordstrand vintage pickup, which is Alnico and very warm. Best of both worlds 😁

Bergantino AE 210 it's a compact and light 2x10 Neo cab which has a lot of bottom end for its size and fits very snugly onto the smallest stages. I've used this on pit gigs/large tours and function gigs and it's always sounds warm and clean. It also comes with the optional extra cover (costs £60). Few little bits of tolex missing on the bottom and sides, otherwise in good condition. SOLD!!! I would trade/part trade for a good kickback combo preferably Ashdown OriginAL C210-300 Or a Markbass 210 combo. AE 210 Info •2 x 10" Custom Neodymium Driver with 7oz magnet and vented pole pieces •high intelligibility 1" tweeter •custom phase - coherent crossover with tweeter level control •power handling - 400 watts rms •frequency response:40Hz - 15kHz •sensitivity: 100db • 1 watt/1 meter •2 x 1/4" and 2 x neutrik connectors •impedance: 8 ohms •dimensions: 22 3/4" W x 18" H x 12 1/2" D •55.9cm x 45.7cm x 31.75cm •weight: 40lbs/18 Kgs
