  1. Hey great to see you Shep! Welcome back! I've bought stuff from you in the past, and always a big fan of your pedalboards 😁
  2. Wow! Would these fit a Yamaha TRBπŸ€”
  3. Have you tried the Source Audio Gemini? It has every conceivable chorus, incl Dual and Quad for extra thickness. You can also program it with Flanger and Phaser too. You can plug it into your phone, and you can tweak the wave shape/EQ/blend as well as the usual rate/Depth etc. There's also a library of models of EHX/Boss etc as much chorus as you can shame a stick at,if you've the patience to tweak things with your phone.
  4. Yeah a dry kill switch would certainly make this a killer Jonathan mentions in the review, that he wondered if the vintage mode was Analog while the poly was digital. Is that at all possible? Id have thought that Roland would've made a point of mentioning it, if that were the case. Jonathon does mention thst both modes sounded different and vintage was more "gloopy" I'm very interested in this pedal!
  5. Cheers Paul Great review and it's got me thinking/hoping this is what we've been waiting for.
  6. Oc5 is 1 louder!!πŸ˜‰
  7. I got really excited for a minute! Then realised it's a souped up OC3/POG hybrid. I'm assuming it's digital? I'm still waiting on a Wazacraft Analog OC2 reissue, and watch them fly off the shelves.
  8. I've got the older version of this! My favourite octave/synth engine. It a so versatile, especially with the parallel loop. It doesn't do pristine clean octave sounds, but as per the OP Its a dirty and very funky sound. The low pass filter when dialled to The left and in conjunction with the dirty octave up, gives a brassmaster style dirt tone. This can also get very close to the mightly OC2 with the filter,so the sub can be set to replicate the OC2 with the clean off tone. 3 fantastic sounding octaves and a parallel loop, for any synth/ muse style fans, you will not find a more usable octave 😁
  9. If you had a nice rehearsal space and didn't need to lug it about, you'll not find a finer rig for Β£400.
  10. This is very true! The best value bass,I've ever played.
  11. If only it were a 5!!
  12. Get this one !! πŸ˜‰
  13. Either that,or someone should fire in and get a bargain 😁
  14. Criminally low price on this! Fantastic basses.
  15. Do you know it that's the same for the EBMM Sterling Pre? I believe its differently voiced! 😁
  16. A strict one in one out policy means this useful little pedal is up for grabs. Does double duty as either an expression or a volume,it automatically detects what it is used for (note a TRS Cable is needed to use as an expression pedal,A normal cable will suffice if used as a volume) Small mini pedal size so ideal for nano boards or where space is a premium. Comes fully boxed and in as new condition. I have literally had this a week and only used to try out! Never mounted to a board or used in a gig or rehearsal. Bit of an impulse buy as I wanted to see how a pedal i have would work with the expression. SOLD!!! Note- If required I can supply a brand new 1.5M TRS cable for an extra Β£8
  17. I currently use various flangers on my Source Audio Gemini. My favourite standalone flanger was the old brown Boss BF2b. Coukd be subtly and funky like Anthony Jackson or go into self oscillation. But a beautiful quality sound with no loss of low end. Oh and I loved the flanger on the MXR bass chorus deluxe. The EBS unichorus has a nice flanger setting, but it's quite subtle and the nearest to AJ tone that I've heard.
  18. Wow lovely board Jim!! Some nice choices. It's so bloody tidy underneath! Mine looks like a rat nest πŸ˜‚ Where did you get the power extension for the Cioks? I need one for mine 😁
  19. Just bought a Valeton expression pedal off Bas! He Says he's downgrading, but he'll end up with all the latest new pedals next week!! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚ Dealt with him loads of times and he's a gent and is fast becoming my pedal "Pusher man" in fact nobody sell him a pedal again, just send them straight to me πŸ˜‚
  20. Oops so sorry! Just realised I've put this in the wrong forum!! First tine I've done that. Must be tired. Please mods could this be moved? Thanks so much 😁
  21. I have a pickguard For sale, from my USA musicman Sterling. clear Acrylic,I recently had this made to replace a pearl one,However it appears to have recieved some minor scratches in transit. Im having a replacement sent, so if you don't mind the scratches then you're in luck,to be clear (pun intended) you can only see these if you look closely,it doesn't show from a distance. Sold! I'm not sure if these will fit the cheaper range of Sterling basses, but will fit the USA Sterling SUB.
