  1. Oh yes! Crazy in love with that one 😁 Watching "A new Hope" now in honour of David Prowse πŸ˜₯
  2. I'm still watching for you selling your Star Wars Grand Tarkin πŸ˜‰πŸ˜
  3. So pedalboard version #$%^%$## My pedal train JNR was getting very cramped and the acquisition of some more pedals, led to an upgrade to a Classic 2. New signal chain Custom Pedal boards mini patch bay - got fed up with plugging leads into various points,so now input/output conveniently in one place. Into- Cali76 CB - I've tried most of them and love this for versatility while still being intuitive to use. It has fantastic natural tone, which just makes you sound better This then goes into the main input of a Boss LS2,so all channels are massaged by the Cali76. Ls2 Loop A - Synth Channel 3 leaf Wonderlove envelope Filter- I'm utilising the loop in this. Effects can be put after the Filter input stage, but before the Filter. This means the dynamics of the filter are preserved. In the Filter loop is the Cog T70 triple Octave - 3 channel octaves with its own loop. Two separated T65 octaves which ive set 1 for a clean smooth octave and another for a synthy octave up sound, utilising the filters. It has a third "sub" channel which has no clean just octave. The filters can get this fairly close to the OC2 sound. The loop on this enables "parallel" octave so any effects used have the octave clean underneath, in this loop I have Crowther Prunes n Custard- very very dynamic and synthy fuzz Malleko Scrutator - Bit crusher/sample rate reducer - this has a built in static low pass/Hi pass filter, which can be used with expression pedal for filter sweeps. Any control can be assigned to the expression creating very funky/electronic sounds Ls2 Loop B - Standalone effects EBS Octabass- fantastic tracking and very smooth/organic sounding octaves. A nice counterpart to the synthy T70 EHX Bass Big Muff- does what it says on the Tin MXR Bass Envelope Filter- I love this for bubbly finger funk. Does one thing very well. MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe - fantastic warm chorus/Flanger. I have it set to affect only the high end,so subtle but a lovely sound. I particularly love the Flanger setting. MXR EVH Phase 90- 2 x settings block and script. Block setting a bit grittier with more resonance (sounds great with the big muff) or script for smooth 70s tones. These two banks of effects can be run parallel via the LS2 for more tonal options. The LS2 main channel goes straight to 3 leaf Enabler - Pre amp/DI/headphone amp - primarily used was A very high quality headphone amp (with aux in). I used to have one before and used as a pre/DI on large tours/theatre pits and sound engineers always remarked on how good the DI was (not something that happens often with these guysπŸ˜‚) It's great for recording too, a very useful pedal. Then back to the Mini patch bay 😁 Before
  4. I've got the EVH phase 90 model! Fantastic phaser I use it on the Block mode for more resonance. Great buy this 😁

    Compressor

    Actually!! He's right 😁
  6. Simply stunning!! I sold a beautiful Tokai jazz fretless, in lake placid blue a few years ago,for a song. I'm still kicking myselfπŸ™
  7. More emptying of the cupboard. Chrome Schaller Straplocks, had these for a long time, but still perfectly functional. Sold
  8. I was using a powered Bergantino IP112 for quite a while so went on similar searches. The best results I had for driving a power amp, were EBS Microbass 2- had plenty gain, A/B channels an FX loop very clean sounding with a drive section if you want it. Headphone amp too. 3 leaf Enabler- if you can find one tons of gain on tap.easily drives a power amp. Clean but warm sound a d a fantastic headphone amp. I still have this for DI/practice. AVOID the Tonebone bassbone! This was advertised by a leading bass retailer as the best thing together the Bergantino,So I bought one. The thing barely goes over unity gain.
  9. Shame it's broken! I used to have one of these. Great little filter, a bargain if you can fix it😁
  10. Been looking through my bass drawer and I've got this rather rock n roll black leather strap. It's genuine black leather, and quite long (Will measure it tomorrow) and really wide (about 4") perfect for heavy basses. It's in as new condition, however must point out that the large studs down the middle have been removed, and only the ornate side studs remain. The holes are there so I suppose it's ready for sone customization. Brilliant strap but give never used it as it's a bit too "Rawk" for me,and too long,So it's SOLD
  11. Yeah I got one of these for my Highway one P bass. Very good indeed!
  12. Ahh very interesting! Especially as i thought number 5 was a flanger and is the chorus that I use! You sure you didn't press that flanger button down? πŸ˜πŸ˜‚
  13. Interesting! #1 was my favourite 4 and possibly 5 were flangers to my ears. Yes I'd like the list posted on here 😁
  14. Fantastic pedal from a brilliant seller!
  15. Brilliant news SI 😁
  16. Hugely gorgeous bass! And you're not far from me! 😁
  17. I've just seem this on Facebook! If it were a 5 I'd be sweating 😁
  18. Some Surprising names coming up in this thread! Clearly showing one mans trash is another man's treasure! I'll play though!Adam Clayton,- made millions, dated supermodels, has more signature basses than you can shake a stick at. Plays F all on bass, that doesn't get in the way of his over ego guitarist. Man's laughing his tits off. Peter Hook - plays bass like a guitarist and not in a good way! Gets a signature Yamaha. Here's one, Joe Dart!!!! Rocco Prestia clone, anyone under 25 and addicted to youtube thinks he's a bass God,gets a signature musicman, Hell of a right hand on him though 😁
  19. Actually I think ill keep it! My apologies to any interested parties.😁
  20. Ive got this wonderful Valeton OC10, it's a very cool and very small clone of the mightly OC2. Ive owned many OC2's over the years and this is one of the closest clones I've heard, for very little cash (especially compared to OC2 used prices) very well made and takes up very little real estate. I bought this to put on a 2nd board as my main octave is a cog (Which also Does the OC2 thing well) I'm looking for a different octave tone for my 2nd board In as new condition, with Velcro on the bottom and in original box Withdrawn
  21. So the latest incarnation of the board. I moved on the SA Gemini as it was power hungry and I prefer Analog modulation. So I've added an MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe, which also has a lovely flanger and an MXR EVH phase 90, with script and block modes. As my cog T70 has all the dirt pedals/filters in it's loop, nd runs paralell. I've added a Valeton AC10 (tiny little OC2 clone) so I can run an octave on series, it's really crazy with the prunes n custard. Also adding the -2 to the cog sounds massive!! As I've run out if room (Ive a nano + incoming) I've taken the 3 leaf enabler of the board,As it takes a load of power and as it's used primarily as a headphone amp/DI rather than an EQ it isn't needed on board.
  22. What's the little cog pedal?
  23. Ive used phase 90s on a loop before (Boss LS2) And it didn't work at all. The sound disappears. I tried to add a clean blend, but the sound was quiet and hardly there. I think there's something in it's design meaning it doesn't behave well with loops. No problems at all out of a loop. Does your looper have phase reversal switches?, as it appears to be cancelling out the effect Not a solution to your problem at all I know, but at least you know you're not going mad πŸ˜‚
  24. Very pleased to hear it! Yours was a thing of great beauty.
