4.
It only has 1 instrument input. The other inputs are 3.5mm Aux input, MIDI in (and out/thru), and a Variax input. I don't know what it would do if you had a Variax bass and normal bass plugged into it at the same time though
AAHH cheers for that, i did look it up, seems its not what i want after all!! thanks again - lee
5. I note that this has two inputs, does that mean, you can plug in two basses and switch between them, if so i may be slightly interested - lee

(SOLD)

Hi Everyone After buying a fretless i couldnt really afford and needing a high quality gigbag for my new Ken Smith, ive reluctantly decided to move this on, i bought this a few months ago and have used it on a couple of shows and it sounded great, its a CIJ 62 reissue fender precision in fiesta red, made in 2004 it features a lightweight basswood body, tinted maple neck with a very nice rosewood fingerboard, the previous owner fitted new CTS pots and jack socket (as per USA Fenders) and a kent armstrong hot vintage pickup, so has much nicer electronics than the standard Export Jap Fenders. It has recently been set up by Phil Hartley in Bolton and has been fitted with a set of D, addario chromes flatwounds (105-50) so plays great and sounds very warm and woody, the best thing about it is the neck its a lovely comfortable C shape and perfect for little fellas like myself who find Precision necks a bit too manly it has a lovely grain to it and i dont have to wax too much on the quality of these japanese Fenders. The condition is very good it has a couple of dings one at the back which cant be seen and a very small one on the neck joint, it will ship with a decent gigbag. I would like £350 including delivery, cheers everybody - LEE - THIS IS NOW SOLD!!!!!! 11.
NS Design site says black rosewood.
Aye it,s probably not ebony, i bought mine when they first came out, and they were advertising them as ebony, but rosewood is more likely, there was a lot of speculation on talkbass, about them having very cheap ebony fingerboards hence the dye, a bit of a pain when it comes off, but it doesnt look too bad! doensnt spoil a cracking instrument, great value - lee
12. +1 Phil has worked on my basses for the past couple of years now, he,s very professional and conscientious (prob spelt wrong) and has done a cracking job giving my jazz a makeover, and the best thing is he lives about 5mins from my house, his price list is on his website, all the best - lee
13. I absolutely adore the music in "dirty harry" and no idea who played it, but id imagine you,d be on the money with carol kaye, with that lovely p bass with a pick thing, didnt the meters do a lot of that type of stuff as well? they are well worth a listen"""
14. The body looks wrong to me, the horns are similar to the old lyte basses, but no! looks like a mongrol to me, i,d avoid especially at that price, much better MIJ alternatives have been available for less money!! - LEE
15. I love treating my fingerboards with lemon oil, my jazz especially comes up really nice!!!, my ken smith has a pau ferro fingerboard, but ive not used any on that yet! Dave (essential tension) a small word of warning, if your using it on the WAV the fingerboard is actually dyed, i gave it a clean with some dunlop guitar polish and a load of it came off, to show a lighter coloured wood underneath (prob still ebony just not jet black) just a thought mate!! all the best, remember lads when it comes to lemon oil addiction!!! IT STAYS ON THE FORUM!!! - LEE
16. Just gorgeous, i love the infinitys, and id really be drooing if it was a 5, its the only thing id get rid of my smith for!! bump for a piece of art!!!
17.
The drummer commented that "it looked like a tomato"
Absolute class, ive got one of these (although with standard japenese hardware) and it does look like a tomato, cool though!!! great colour on a p bass, and much cheaper than the pino model, shame there wasnt a nice vintage pickup in there too!! great bass BUMP!!!! lee
18. Shame!!!, ive been asked to do this show in a couple of weeks, but im not available, some great tunes, and lots of nice show off moments, im sure ill get to play it at some point, cracking show!!!!- lee
