  1. If you let us know what bass you have I am sure one of the learned brethren on the site maý be able to advise what strings are fitted.
  2. I have a similar set up to Paul S but instead of a HB powerbank I use a Gear4music pedal board mounted 5.8ghz wireless transmiter/receiver with tuner. This has a built in rechargable battery which as an output for powering pedals. The battery will also charge the guitar transmiter. Easily lasts a gig+ even if the bug has to be charged at halt time.
  3. It looks like the Harley Benton stewblack mentions will charge and pass power at the same time.
  4. If you are looking at a small set up how about the Warwick gnome series, there is a 280w version and their cabs are less expensive so you could use 2.
  5. You could look at bass guitar headphone amps which plugs into the jack socket of the bass like those from Vox and Blackstar.
  6. Would the song allow playing the odd A an octave up?
  7. Elkie Brooks especially when singing in Vinegar Joe with Robert Palmer who had a decent voice himself.
  8. For Dood's contribution(s) to the bass community I'm happy to contrubite.
  9. As Boodang states the Spectrdrive would be a good choice as there are plenty of downloadable toneprints and they are an easy transfer from the phone app to the pedal via the bass pickup.
  10. Just finished breakfast, a tidyup next.
  11. Sounds like a great result Marty.
  12. Thats a great portfolio Dood, many thanks.
  13. Hope everything goes well - knock 'em out (musically of course).
  14. I have been using a version of the gear4music pedalboard 5.8Ghz wireless set which has a built in tuner, cable length pot and the internal battery will recharge the transmiter and also power effects pedals, cost £99. I have had no problems with it so far.
  15. I think NancyJohnson means the bands set is an hour, the Legato bugs will probably last for 4+ hours.
  16. Nice bass that.
  17. It would be no joke it's a long way down in those heels😁
  18. +1 to that. Sorry to see your back giving you so much jip Lozz.
  19. Just mount the speaker on the stand and shim it. If you use a piece of plastic you can keep it in the stand bag and use until it needs replacing.
  20. Nice looking bass Rayman. Remember the math, the number of basses you need is always n+1 where n is the number already in your possesion😁
  21. You could look at a TC Electronics Spectradrive which can be used as is or change the Toneprints for the compressor and drive. I looked at the Nux but was put off by the software glitches.
  22. +1, nice compact setup Smanth.
  23. Sad news indeed, rest in peace Nigel.
