  1. Can't say I'm surprised that GAK didn't have stock in as advertised - unfortunately its not uncommon with online stores these days. I can't believe they would make such a disparaging remark against the manufacturer! You could really harm a firm's reputation making comments like that. What a cheap way of conducting themselves as a business. I've had no issues with these before but this would certainly make be think twice. I mean is this their MO when they advertise without having the stock?
  2. Arturia Micro Brute up for grabs. In excellent condition with box, patch templates, and manual. Price includes postage.

  4. As it effing happens - haha. Your about to get a PM sir!
  5. After any trades at all Al? I'm looking to off load a bunch of pedal, PJB Bass Cub, and an Arturia Microbrute, if any of that interests you.
  6. That's lovely mate - olly white with tort guard is my fave colour combo (aside from woods). Kids cute too!
  7. I'm with Fleabag on this: I use the lowest action I can possibly get away with. It's easier to play that way - for me at least. I have no idea whether a bass sounds better with high action as high action feels crappy to me and I'll have a new bass set up low as it goes as soon as I get it.
  8. God that's yummy! Alan makes such beautiful basses. GLWTS.
  9. In excellent condition with original box, manual and patch templates. £160 posted recorded delivery. Only trade I'm after would be for a EHX Bass Micro Synth. Pics up soon.
  10. Line 6 M13 £125 The M13 is in excellent condition. Both are boxed and will be posted recorded. Postage included in the price. JDI gone. Would trade for a a Sansamp BDDI v2, Aguilar Tonehammer DI, and would consider other DI's too, but these are top of my list. Cash adjustments either way of course. Radial JDI £120 Darkglass B3K £95 SOLD SFX Micro Fuzz £50 SOLD Sold Gold FX Funk Lite £110 SOLD TC Mojo £25 TC Spectracomp £45 (photo to follow but it's mint and boxed) SOLD Pics now added.

  12. For me, it's kind of like learning for learning's sake. I decided to try and nail slapping about two years ago and made a point of practicing it regularly and using online lessons etc. I've got a level where I'm reasonably competent at it - but there's no way I'd be using it in my band (a post rock, proggy thing) but I like learnings and pushing the envelope even though no one but me gets to hear it and it will never be used at any practical level - but I'm fine with that. Tried to do the same with tapping but lost interest.
  13. Spectracomp would be my recommendation. Plenty of slap-artists tone prints on their to use and most of them are pretty good.
  14. Mine would be my ACG Finn short scale. I've had it about 5 or 6 months ago and am still over the moon with it. Exceptional bass.
  15. Seriously gorgeous bass that, GLWTS.
  16. Love the blue one! Have a short scale with jazz pups and would love another with precision pups - this could be the one!
  17. Same. I'm a very recent convert to TI flats and absolutely love them. Brighter than La Bellas which suits me.
  18. I think it looks great - aside from the relicing which I'm not a fan of but I get that it's a sig model.
  19. That looks awesome. Had no idea Fender did anything like this.
  20. If I ever go back to rounds it will be with Elixirs. I loved them thought they were well worth the money.
  21. My memory's gotten worse as I've got older. If I stop regularly practicing any song in my bands set my playing suffers as I stumble through the riff changes.
