  1. Can't go wrong with either of them - both nice in different ways.
  2. Love SR's - it's the neck and light weight in particular. Happy NBD!
  3. If I hadn't moved to an all software/pc set up I'd definitely be keeping this.
  4. JDI gone already - that was quick!
  5. Up for sale is my little used Allen & Heath Zed 10FX mixer. It's well handy this unit, brilliant quality and in mint nick. £170 posted with recorded delivery. Blurb from the website: ZED-10FX is an amazing little desk for small band mixing. It is ultra portable for carrying to the gig, and can be used for recording live or in the studio. It comes with configurable USB audio in/out making it easy to capture stereo recordings. Guitars can be plugged in directly to the mixer using the specially designed high-impedance inputs, while the mixer has two stereo inputs for MP3/CD players or keyboards. Equipped with professional XLR stereo outputs and a flexible monitoring section with headphone and speaker feed outputs. We’ve added a set of fabulous effects to give shimmering reverbs and enhance your sound. Send options: 1) Main Mix Left + Right (Post master Level) 2) Aux + FX bus (Aux is a pre-fade send, FX is a post-fade send) 3) Record Bus Left + Right (Separate stereo bus to Main Mix) Return options: 1) To Playback input (through jack socket break contacts) 2) To Stereo 2 channel (through jack socket break contacts)
  6. I tend to practice via my PC and headphones these days so this excellent little amp has been unused for much of the time it has been with me. As you can see it's in excellent condition. Also - comes boxed and with the carry bag, which is mint and never been used. I'm after £300 posted and will be sent recorded delivery. I would knock off £20 if collected. Tradewise I'm not after another amp at the minute but would in interested in a DI - preferably a Sansamp BDDI v2 or an Aguilar Tonehammer.
  7. JDI now added. Oops, looks like I've quoted my own OP there! 😂
  8. Well done to the OP for not accepting the builder's bribe to withdraw his comments. They do make some lovely instruments but man, some serious customer service issues going on. You just couldn't recommend these to another bass player anymore could you?
  9. Well that's rather yummy! Sorry you have to sell such a lovely bass.
  10. Yeah I'm struggling with them to be hones. I give the bias a try and see if that helps. Thanks for the tip.
  11. Anyone use Helix Native? All the bass amps seem to have a tonne of overdrive on them and if I reduce the drive and get a significant drop in volume which I then struggle to compensate with by using the master volume. Anyone experienced this? Am I missing something?
  12. That second clip was awesome! Thanks for posting.
  13. Yup - just ordered the Gary Willis book. Thanks for the suggestion. Something to get stuck into during this 'working from home' time. I'll probably try it for a week then it will gather dust along with the others
  14. I'm happy that some of you have managed to rehearse. I'm dying to get together with my band mates but our rehearsal room is small with no real ventilation. Too risky to get together - especially with a likely 2nd wave given the weekend scenes. I think, in our case, a rehearsal could be months away 😢
  15. Discovered Caspian recently and bought their Dust and Disquiet Album. Can't stop playing it, brilliant.
  16. Congrats on the new bass - looks lovely. I've got to get me oly white with a tort guard one of these days.
  17. Hey thanks all for the replies and also the offer of assistance @stewblack Just trying to configure the editor to get a bass sound rather than using the virtual keyboard is presenting a challenge but I will have another crack at that later. I'm finding the manual here, whilst detailed, a bit of a dry read. An easy or quick start guide to editing section with a tutorial on setting up a very basic patch would have been really helpful here. Unless I've missed something? A video tutorial would be even better. I know it's an awesome pedal, some of the patches I've heard are amazing. I just want to tweak for my own preference.
