1.
I do - I find it very disappointing when he shows up looking like an accountant on dress-down Friday. Button-down collars? He used to look like this, for God's sake!!
A rare sighting of the first male camel toe.
2. Ooo nice - trade for a Thunder II (dual P version with XLR)?
3. Still here, sitting in it's case, not being played...
4. The only reason I haven't bought this is that my fretless Daion is so good I have no need of the fretted version.
5. Just because the cost of international shipping and import duties would put it out of my budget
6. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1978-GRECO-GOB-1200-bass-guitar-w-soft-case-RefNo-51313-/181573635825?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276 Oh my days that is one gorgeous Greco. If this was in UK it would be mine now.
7.
Get a Trace Elliot Status T-Bass! Picked mine up for buttons and the quality and sound is brilliant! Active/Passive toggle you know
I want one as my 4 string is soooo good - do you know of any for sale?
8. Ask for a TC Electronic RH450 with the footswitch - you get a free amp with it too!
9. What kind of partial trades would you be interested in?
10.
My nearest gig/town from home other than the village pub is 7 miles away up a winding hilly lane, so as Duncan would say "amm ooot"
I live fairly near the city centre, so it's busy, but there are lots of cycle lanes and it's 2 miles max to any of the venues I use the trailer for. Any further, or having to go on a main road, and I wouldn't use it I don't think.
11. We play this occasionally in our set - love it!
12.
I fancied trying an Apieron 5 or however its spelt
If you're ever in Cardiff, you can have a try of mine
13. There's no brake on the trailer, I just make sure my bike brakes are in good nick and don't go nuts down the hills.
14. It's about carting my bass gear around so I thought generally, it was ok to discuss it here It was this Foxhunter trailer - the largest I could find that was foldable. It's surprisingly easy to cycle with it loaded and not much wider that riding the bike with it so you don't have to worry too much about giving extra space to things. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FoxHunter-New-Bike-Bicycle-Cycle-Luggage-Cargo-Trailer-Carrier-Foldable-Black-/121280152438?pt=UK_SportGoods_CyclAcces_RL&hash=item1c3cdc4376
15. For gigs in town I've been taking my gear in using a bike trailer. I manage to fit my RS210, amp head, bass and box of bits in it. When it rains I cover it all in a fluorescent poncho with reflective strips. It takes me only marginally more time to get to the gig and at some venues I can just unhitch the trailer and take it straight onto the stage! Anyone else used one before? I'll take a pic next time I use it.
16. Trades considered - TC Electronic RS112, Active stage monitors, decent keyboard - try me!
17. Ooooof! How have I only just seen this? £600 eh? Any trades you'd consider?
18. I quite like replying thusly to charity gig requests "Thanks for asking us! Our standard rate is £1500 - who shall I send the invoice to?"
19. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!
20. There's a venue on Bristol we play where on top of the £400 payment, they always pass a bucket round near the end and we get another £100ish in that too. - I love the tip jar!
21. Stevie Wonder? They got actual STEVIE WONDER on it?
22. Did our monthly takeover special, I started TWO songs a semitone out but rescued it with some fretless gymnastics. Broke the attendance record for the venue too! Just got in from that, 7 hours till our next gig.... Sleep!
