1.
I saw Fish on Saturday, and he had a stand on stage with him. It didn't detract from the show for me.
A pro musician needs a stand like a Fish needs a... no wait, hang on
 2.
Oh my word...... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Westone-Thunder-2a-4-String-Bass-/291325178027?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item43d45570ab
3. Played for a charity's Christmas ball in a big theatre, all went swimmingly first half but as they'd overrun with awards and presentations they asked us to cut the second set down to 2 songs! Bit weird but we got paid the same so...
 4.
Someone's tired!
I think 'someone' has been playing a great big joke, that most here have missed.
 5. Wow. I think I chose the wrong time to put my gold flake 5 string up for sale! Hope this goes pretty quickly :-)
 6. Really looking for a sale but may trade for a less expensive 5iver with cash my way. Or a Trace Elliot 5 string.
 7. I bought this amazing bass in the summer, and in the last 5 months I've only had cause to gig it twice so it's time to say goodbye. This is a top top quality bass and retails at £1600 new so this is a bargain! Plays very comfortably for a 5 string and has a nice range of tone thanks to the hybrid pickup system. More details about these basses here: http://www.cloverbas...hp?id=9&bass=11 There are 2 dinks on the bass, a tiny one on the head stock and another underneath, as shown in the photos. Comes with it's own gig bag. 8. I would get him a normal size bass, but a short scale if you want. He'll only have to change up to normal size in the end and Starting full size will give him a head start. Look at Tal Wilkenfield's hands - tiny!
 9. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/151489321854 Early Aria Pro II P bass. Bit grotty but could end up being a bargain especially as it's collection only.
 10. Love how the bass tech(?) just fits right in when the bass is handed to him! Edit: Checking out other videos I see that that's his regular bassist.
 11.
Always my first choice when looking to makea purchase. Something to think abou though is that you obviously get euro plugs on everything. Not a problem for some things, but buying something with a dedicated power supply means you may have to purchase a UK one seperately.
They've always sent me an English power lead as well as the original euro lead when I've bought from them, which is why I have a drawer full of euro power leads
 12.
I have no idea. He requested payment by Paypal for the bass. I set up a new Paypal account. He provided an email address to pay to. I followed Paypals instruction and paid my Paypal via my credit card. As I paid by Paypal and they say they offer protection, it is more to do with them. Otherwise I would not have bought the bass. When I set this Paypal up on the night, it was set up so my credit card would be used to pay the Paypal bill. I have little issue with them charging me as long as it offers protection. It appears it doesn't. Late last night I got am email, from the same email address as the seller. The person stated he was the son of the seller and that the seller had died on Tuesday night. The person stated he would get round to sorting out "loose ends" in a week or two.
This has SCAM all over it in massive red letters. Luckily it was via your credit card, you should be able to get it back as it was over £100. Got a link to the original listing at all?
 13.
Of course they'll moan at you if you mention moving on - you're their free ride / meal ticket / whatever! I organise a band, but I run it as a benevolent dictatorship, where I am the sole trader and the other guys are effectively subcontractors. They are absolutely fine with this - they know how much we all get, and they also know I will never be into them to pay for things like demo CDs or rehearsals. The upside for me is control (bwahahaha!); the downside for me is all the grief that goes with it, but at least I am paying myself a bit extra for that.
Snap!
 14. Two-pin plug types that always come with the stuff I get from Thomann. I have 2 of these going for anyone that wants them, but there must be thousands around in the UK - wonder if we could do something with them all?
 15. Bump for price reduction - it is extremely unlikely that you will see one of these for sale anytime soon.
