I'm gigging in town on the 28th, it's at half 5 though so I can pop along for an hour or two and then 'borrow' your gear to use at the gig! One bass per song possible?

Someone walked onto the stage tonight to demand lessons from our sax player while he was mid solo. Not really what you expect at a jazz gig.

Almost as annoying as "in perfect condition except for..." Or "all original apart from..." Well it isn't then is it!!!

Because I have 30 tracks to write down (or memorise) by Saturday. Most have simple structures and/or are interesting to play. Street Player is neither.Edit: If there's something that would make your job more efficient, you'd do it wouldn't you? BTW, starting a post "Not trying to be ..." invariably leads one to believe that the poster IS trying to be that, whether they are or not.

Does anyone know of one anywhere? It's not particularly hard but it's long with a lot of changes and I simply can't be bothered listening to all 9 mins 34 of it writing it all down! Thanks!

I was never a massive fan of their stuff, but I worked on a few of their shows and they are amongst the most energetic live acts around. Sometimes it's nice to see a band that actually work for their ticket money rather than just standing there.

I don't mind the flat music stands that look a bit more pro, but the cheapy folding crappy ones look awful. I get quite embarrassed when a singer in my band uses one.

Had a great gig last night as part of our monthly themed nights. This month was carnival so we had a samba band to start us off with Celebration suite and then a full choir in for 'Mas Que Nada'. Absolutely smashed the set and got two yes TWO bass playing compliments Only downside was that for the second gig in a row the mic attached to my GoPro failed - aaaaaaaaargh! But anyway,
