1. Paul bought a set of Ultralite tuners off me in a lovely friendly deal. Nice chap to chat to on the PMs. How Basschat should always be. Thanks Paul, it's been a pleasure mate.
2. Having a further clear out and I've got these four sets of new strings that I won't be using. Sadowsky Black Label Flats- 100 80 60 40 gauges. £30 posted. Labella Black Tapewounds - 115 94 70 60 gauges. £30 posted. *SOLD* Ernie Ball Extra Slinky rounds - 95 70 60 40 gauges. £13 posted. *SOLD* Picato nickel plated steel rounds, 5 string set - 130 105 85 65 45 gauges. £15 posted. All sets new and completely unused. The Sadowsky flats packet has been opened as I thought I'd bought a 5 string set (only last month) but the strings have never left the packet. SOLD.The Labella tapes are still sealed as I received them. I bought them to try on my fretless but I'm loving my Labella flats too much so I can't see myself needing these for a long time. SOLD.The Ernie Ball slinkys are a new unused set but in the old style packet that have been safe in my bits box under the bed for 2 years. The Picato 5er set is brand new and unopened. Bought earlier this year for my 5 string P bass that has now been sold. Cheeoz.
3. Yep, bassstringsonline have a multitude of single strings and build your own sets. Ok they're in the States but I've bought from them many times and can fully recommend them. You won't have to pay any import duty paying such a small amount for the single. It usually takes about 8 working days for your strings to arrive. http://www.bassstringsonline.com/GHS-Pressurewound-Flats-Bass-Strings--Low-B-128_p_616.html
4. Mike bought a Hipshot bridge off me in a very easy deal. Nice friendly chat on the PMs, wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again. Good luck sourcing the rest of your project Mike!
5. I'm withdrawing these after having a few words with myself. (those words being,"find a nice Stingray to put these babies on") 😀
6. I sold Mark a nice set of tuners and he was great to deal with, great correspondence on the PMs. Really nice chap to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again, buying or selling. Cheers!

Colin bought some more bits and pieces off me and again, he was a lovely chap to deal with. Nice chat on the PMs. Many thanks again Colin! I just realised that last time I left feedback for him it was on a very old feedback thread and not this active one. Sorry 'bout that!
8.
Not really haha but thanks anyway! I've just googled and a standard Schaller BM weighs 98gm so with the aluminium post I guess these will come in somewhere around 75-80gm. There, I've answered my own question!
Out of curiosity I've been to weigh one around at a friend's house on their digi scales. It actually weighed in at 61g.
9. I don't have any scales small enough to weigh them accurately sorry. In the hand one feels about the same as a Hipshot Ultralite although I expect it weighs a bit more. That's not very helpful is it? 🐒
10. A set of 5 Hipshot licenced cloverleaf Ultralites in chrome. 1/2" tuner hole (Fender) size. I had them on a Squier Vintage Modified Precision V for a short while. Rock solid tuning, as good as the USA Ultralites I've had previously. These lic Ultralites come as standard on Lakland Skylines btw. They make a huge difference to the weight and balance to a bass - over half a pound off the headstock end. They come with all the bushings and screws, ready to go. Light use, very good condition. £45 posted.
11. Brand and new still in the box Gotoh Res-o-lite GB350 insanely lightweight top quality bass tuners for 5-in-a-line Fenders. They are made from aircraft grade aluminium. Another project bites the dust so I need the funds for something else now. 50 quid posted.
12. Set of 4 brand new unused G&L USA Ultralite bass tuners, as found on (of course) all the USA G&L basses. They also fit Musicman basses as they are easily reversible to obtain the 3+1 configuration if you want to lighten the headstock end of your Stingray etc.. They fit standard MIM Fenders too. They come with all the ferrules and screws. 50 quid posted. Edit - pics added from the G&L website. Note the aluminium string posts. They feel top quality, lovely action.
13.
I'm a year into playing for a living. I'm in a bar band. I have a mortgage and bills and I'm making our with no help from anyone. Blue
Glad it's working out for you Blue. Nice to hear it still can be done full time without needing a day job to top things up. Respect to you.
14.
Something like this?? Bit of Wayman Tisdale http://youtu.be/Ihz-liqZ9IU p.s how do you guys embed a video??
Just take the 's' off 'https' in the link's address mate.

16.
Warmoth necks tend to be pretty chunky unless you specify the tapered option and the build quality is outstanding I've had 2 and both have been flawless plus they have a huge selection to choose from
Thanks man - I've now taken a punt on an Allparts neck, should be here in a couple of weeks. Will report back once I've given it a whirl.
