1.
more human than drummers
I've met a couple of humanoid drummers, one or two who could even read
 2.
You mean you met humans who didn't want to try something new?!?!?
...just pa knob twiddlers, not humans per sé
 3. I think the best representation of your sound against comrpomise with clarity and control for the sound guy might be taking a di signal straight from your bass as well as micing the cab to get the sound of your amp and then using both signals out front, more bass is better! also more faffing on setup so probably not worth it if you're not playing for over an hour in a large venue!?
 4. to be a bit more verbose in response... going straight into the desk as a line level input will be worse than going via a di box taking a di signal from the back of your amp into a desk will allow you to shape the sound a little and will mean that your amp's preamp is affecting your bass sound a tad. On some/most amps with a di out there's a pre/post switch somwehere which then routes the signal to the di either before the eq section (ie it has no effect on the di signal) or post eq (the eq section affects the di signal). a sound engineers favourite is often (as described above) to connect the bass straight into the di box and then off to the desk and then take a line signal from the di into the amp on stage, totally depends on the venues you're playing though...
 5.
Is that the case ? I Didn't know that. I recently sent a gift payment which was a combination of Paypal balance, and Credit Card, no fee's were charged either end.
that's how it's worked when I've tinkered with how to pay for stuff...happy to be wrong of course
 6.
^What he said^ A Paypal gift payment has no additional charges associated to either party (seller or buyer). No reason not to use that Paypal method, or as I've said previously I'm more than happy to accept payment via Bank Transfer. No charges apply to Bank Transfer paymets.

AS far as i rememeber, gift used to mean NO charges either way, which is why its a great option for selling stuff here, but it seems to be missing in my PP account Oh well ...
almost... A paypal gift where the funds come from your bank account has no fees for anyone, A paypal gift where you use your credit card means you pay the fees rather than the recipient of the cash
 7.
check out the behringer website product list http://www.behringer...ucts/index.aspx scroll down to "bass" - now that picture looks suspiciously like a new product... some kind of streamliner copy?
you can just about see it says veyron on the upper left of the front of the head in the picture...no info about it on the site though
 8. Presuming an 8ohm cab you'll get about 2/3 (I think) of the amp's output but that doesn't really give you an idea of the volume... Broadly...you could use a very sensitive cab and it be good n loud or a cab not so sensitive and be much less loud... there's all manner of physics involved with this stuff but the end result will probably be try it and see, if it's not loud enough add more speakers or change the head (or both).
