    the 835 is of roughly equivalent quality to an sm58 but with a much more even response (none of that mid hump you get from an sm58) whereas the 825 occupied a lower position in their range. The 845 is nicer still, the 855 is my favourite non condensor (no longer made though) and the 865 is proper nice!

    Enjoy dude! Try not to drink too much beforehand cos your bass ain't gettin' drunk with you and you'll suck! I have no more than 1 beforehand as that loosens my stage moves a tad but doesn't feck my fingers

    Gav has kindly rehomed my Mono m80, excellent comms as ever (he works odd shifts but always gets back to you as soon as he can) and paid exactly when he said he would. top chap, good buddy, recommended

[/quote] oo interesting question, I'm not really sure, it is definitely usb power only but the cable is a standard usb2 on the computer end so I wonder whether a usb power adaptor type converter like you have for phone chargers nowadays would do the job of providing the power for it and then you've got a very mini mixer type thing with midi capability...?
