1.
Good luck with the gig! Still looking to have the Traveler if the Super 15 sells!
Cheers matey, if your cab sells (and mine too) then we may between us be able to complete this one too
  2. As my EAD cab is up for sale and I'm downsizing, this monkey is the next logical departure...I'm looking for a CDM121P combo as it's the same amp-gubbins as this but all tidily fastened together with a decent-ish 12" speaker in a neat little box... Bought on here last year, kept in a rack case, superb condition (just a couple of very minor scuffs), fully working, no issues at all. Prices for individual bits (collected) or £425 for the lot. LMIII - £400 Gator 2U Rackbag - £40 LMIII Rack ears - £15 Local collection/delivery around Sheffield is more than welcome, otherwise, UK shipping only please (at cost to buyer).
  3.
. Great band name by the way. I've just realised I haven't added pictures, will do that tonight.
cheers matey first gig tomorrow! gear pics are always nice
  4. If my EAD cab sells soon I may be asking about the combo so I can also rehome my LMIII which will make loads of space in the house thereby gaining me lots of wife-points
  5.
The irony is Andy, the last no show, the one who's wife said he couldn't have it, mentioned it to his mate in the pub on Sunday night. Now his mate is the new owner . The same new owner that had contemplated the Hot Rod for sale in Glasgow at £1100. The new owner texted me last night and he loves it, so, all's well....................
that's hilarious and serendipitous, happy sale matey! need pics of your new CS now too of course
  6. Phew! Glad it's sold I was having bass dreams but my cab not selling in time scuppered that one...
  7. come on cab...sell sell sell so I can cheer Karl up
  8.
Sunny Bristol, kind Sir - if you want to arrange a courier I'm happy to package up extremely well (at cost) - drop me a PM if of interest
this is a tricky choice now between 2 things I'd really like (assuming my cab sells before either of the things I want of course) damn that gas
  9.
Can't understand why this is still here, especially at this price. We used mine in our studio for 3-4 months and recorded everything from modern pop to reggae and in between. Most of the change in tones was from altering the two attenuators on the cab. We used a valve amp through it (Dynacord BA300), Mark Bass LM II, and a few others. All gave different but great results. They aren't heavy by any means, I can haul mine around with one hand when needed. Just a great cab that will give you loads of performance. We tested it against a BF twin 12 cab with tweeter at a bass bash and while the BF was a little lighter, the EAD had a nicer, fuller low end and all around tone. It just sat nicer in the band mix. Plus you have way more flexibility with the EAD. It's a great workhorse cab, designed and built with precision and performance in mind, very reasonable footprint...and it has a great cover too
Cheers Tom matey, they're stunning cabs and I may regret the selling but needs must, times change, sounds and aesthetics need to fit with an originals band etc...
  10. It's free to get in and the beer is awesome in there (Thornbridge brewery)
  11. If i got a second one I'd be in big trouble but...don't suppose you fancy a trade with cash my way for my ead 212? or have i asked this question already? I'm v tired from a long day driving so am easily confused...
  12. Oo tempting! Not what you asked for but how about a trade for my ead 212 cab?
  13.
Well, if it's gotta go, it's gotta go.
cheers mate
  14.
I'm really sorry to hear that, Andy. But if it's gotta go, it's gotta go I suppose.
cheers buddy, kinda sad times really but, as one dream dies another arises... I'd be happier knowing it was going to a good home of course
  15.
Possibly - but I'm not buying it because I'm hoping Andy will come to his senses and withdraw it! If it's sold he will rue the day forever!
alas mate, this time it's gotta go, I may regret it eventually but it's just not getting used...
  16.
The fact that this hasn't sold hints to me that a lot of bassists don't know what they're missing. In my opinion, for a full range 4ohm cab they are hard to beat (I've heard comparisons with other popular cabs) and in terms of construction and finish they knock spots off all the opposition. A custom crossover with tweeter and horn attenuation make it ultra versatile too. Peter
thanks peter mate, it really is the most awesome cab at both low and significant sound levels! Sadly it's gotta go as times change and my gear needs to fit them...also need the space in the house as it hasn't been used in ages apart from home practise use and it's a tad overkill for that
  17. Our first ever gig is on a triple bill after our first rehearsal together last December, we'll be playing all originals, really looking forward to it! This is us: https://www.facebook.com/FargoRailroadCompany Playing at: http://www.dadabar.co.uk/Dada_home.html I believe the evening starts at 8pm, we're due on stage at half 9-ish for a half hour slot. Come along if you're in town...it could be fun
  18.
Fabulous cabs Andy and hugely tempted but firstly it's quite a bit more than the Hot Rod and secondly I would have to sell my Barefaced (post#32) , to get the final money for the CS. All this against a bit of a time schedule. Good luck with your sale.
Cheers matey, I'm praying for serendipitous timing of a sale for me which will then provoke a sale for you and a new bass for me
  19.
Very nice offer but alas I am skint... Thanks
bobbins mate in which case glwts
  20.
You may like to buy this superb piece of gear, so Mr. Dye can buy my Hot Rod!
21. it's a real shame you're not interested in trades, especially for an EAD 212 cab that I just happen to be selling as I'd rather like that P, especially the natural & rosewood combo!! Looks smokin'!!
  22. Hiya, might you be interested in a trade for my ead 212 with cash my way?
