1. Looks and sounds amazing mate! ...sooooo not helping
 2.
The 40mm neck on this one helps a lot - it feels just like my P, if only a little bit shallower. The neck pup has an amazing boom and growl to it, too
it is mainly rhe spindly faffy little necks that I dislike, my perfect j would have a p neck on it...my gas is worsening you menace
 3. I don't like playing jazz basses but periodically have to buy one cos I just love the look of them and also the thought of all the amazing songs played on them... your bass sir is giving me gas again darn you to heck
 4. Wahey! Glad you're lovin it mate, I'm tempted to get one too cos they look the beans
 5. He's being deliberately coquettish I think
 6. I'm still tempted to get one if vintage p hunt falls through..., 70's p
 7. Get well soon Howard mate
 8.
Perhaps I'm nuts but I'm trying to get a full rig that is made in the UK & I've noticed their lighter ABM heads are made here .
all valve orange awesomeness! you may need a luggage trolley but your ears will love the sound!!
 9.
Good luck Andy. My year of birth, it would have to be a Stradivarius
you must be hugely valuable to associate with such things
 10.
So, a well know custom luthier hasn't replied to my email in the two time slots he allows per week, so guess I'm going to have to give this a miss as a donor body. GLWTS
Sad news about the 'Jon email' mate I'm going to have to pass on this too as I've had my head turned by an older lady...year of birth p-bass ! GLWTS buddy
 11.
Andy, you really need to get something bought to scratch this itch fella, must be driving you nuts
I got it bad dude vintage p bass, year of birth it's all coming together
 12.
He hasn't been on line since May 16th, guessing he's a busy touring bassist, or it wouldn't take him 3 months to weigh a bass. MIGHT be worth trying a pm, but if he's touring he may just not be checking in.
good spot mate Pm'd him
 13. Is this still available? Are there any more pics to tempt me please y.o.b.
 14.
May one suggest you have a touch of google maps looking at the relative positions of Wigan (where I live) Manchester (where the bass lives) and Sheffield (where you live) Mr Shuker has still not replied to my email of yesterday morning so currently I can not go forward anyway. Yet.
Doh! for some reason I was thinking it was in Mansfield when I typed that...due mostly to a bout of 'spanner-itis' in reading to quickly and mashing a variety of folks' sigs together! Feel free to pop over with it if you come see Jon though
 15.
Best be quick fella's, if I get a reply from Mr. Shuker re a neck build, this may well become my donor body if it's still here (no smartarse comments about me NEEDING a donor body thank you ).
I really want to try a tele bass to see how the sound and feel compares to my USA p (what I really want is a '77 tele bass but I lack the beans to obtain such a thing), if you buy it can you swing by Sheffield for a brew on your way back to Wigan so I can meet it?
 16. how have I not seen this before now sorely tempted!! any chance of you passing Sheffield any time soon?
 17. John very graciously and gently provided me with some pricing assistance on my LMIII before then buying it from me, all round honourable gent, great comms, paid exactly when he said he would. Superb bc'er many thanks matey
 18.
Just bought a real 'slab', very happy boy, so this one will probably be for sale soon.
I was just about to ask the very question you've just answered! I shall watch the for sale area with some anticipation
 19.

oh hello nurse that's awesome!
 20. Oo jealous much! you get some of the finest instruments matey!
 21.
Ahhhhhh ... I see. The only control for the DI out on this is the pre/post eq switch.
the LMII is still a superb sounding head, loads of punch, love it
 22.
Actually, I was comparing photos of the LMII and the LMIII there ... The Combo Head II looks to be the same as the LMIII.
they're similar looking in that they have the same knobs in the main but the LMIII has a control knob for the DI out as well which is the main reason I upgraded from LMII to LMIII, allegedly they improved some bits on the inside too but I really couldn't tell the sonic difference in a band context
 23. tempting if my EAD sells before this does! I'm gonna try and nip to a local shop that's got one in to try, I loved my LMIII head and this is the same amp but in a wee box with a 1x12 and a horn yes?
