2.
Is the metallic very noticeable? The metal flake is the only thing putting me off here.
it's pretty subtle from a few paces away, it's only up close that you can really see
 3. Trade for my mim fsr j with cash my way?
 4.
This can only be used with usb powering it, ie I couldn't use it on it's own for a live situation?
oo interesting question, I'm not really sure, it is definitely usb power only but the cable is a standard usb2 on the computer end so I wonder whether a usb power adaptor type converter like you have for phone chargers nowadays would do the job of providing the power for it and then you've got a very mini mixer type thing with midi capability...?
 5. there doesn't seem to be the same problem with flickr hosted stuff so mebbe that's worth a go?

 9.
Hey We're really looking forward to this! We'll be coming along with Drew from Manchester Bass Lounge so we'll have his stock of Alpher basses (including the one that's just been reviewed in the latest issue of BGM) and hopefully a few more. Can't wait to meet you all! Cheers Chris Alpher Instruments
I'm looking forward to meeting one of your basses!
 10.
Two pubs of choice this year. With the increased numbers wanting to go we have The Stag and The Balmoral to try out. As to the malts no idea I am afraid. Also need to add there will be a demo played by Colin Cunningham from Cocosbassment along with his tame drummer. Also the guys from Alpher Instruments will be on hand for all things bass related. Alan
11. 4 weeks on Saturday! What's the malt selection like in the pub of choice on Saturday night anyone?

 21.
Actually..... No! Think something larger.... And I think it will suit me better too.
Larger! AWESOME!
 22.
Tentatively on hold pending a possible (Barefaced!) trade.
not something vintage by any chance? that would be a shame
 23.
I won't necessarily just be providing coffee/tea/milk/biccies, if there's anything I have stashed away that no one else is bringing and might be of use then I'll see what I can do closer to the date but I have a fairly small collection and most things will be already covered. If it hasn't been sold by then maybe the active USA precision deluxe, don't see a vast number of those around? Also in other larger bass gatherings some folks have brought along gear that they wanted to sell, I assume this is still allowed irrespective of the new BC sales [s] tax[/s] policy? if its only a small number then chances are slim of actually offloading anything but don't see an issue with people pitching up with unwanted pedals and other bits? Maybe someone can bring along a PAT tester and we can get all our gear done for a year?
I was going to ask about a trade/sale/swaps table/rack but got distracted by some work...
