I find that the 'extras' (drums, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, mandolin, keys, whatever) go in seasons but bass is my main thing, I could do any of the others in a band but bass is [i]my[/i] thing! -

I'd say yes as I can and do each new instrument I add makes me think differently about the other ones I play and improve on them too -

Recent threads about how you do your covers got me wondering aout how the basschat population is made up, what proportion of us get their musical kicks from mostly playing covers or mostly playing originals or mostly in your bedroom/lounge/whatever... I'm a mostly covers player, I do help out a few friends who gig occasionally with their singer/songriter output but it's not as often as I'd like! Neither is the covers band really but it's the most frequent thing I do...

I learn any critical bits note for note and any other bits are a bonus if I get them note for note too, as long as it swings like the original and any memorable bits are right I don't worry too much, over time I develop 'my way' of playing the song which generally still involves any 'don't mess with it' bits an the rest may be tweaked to suit the way we play it...

[s]Still clearing the drawers out...came across these adaptors from when I had ehx pedals, they're the blue ones, now the pedals are all gone I don't need these adaptors anymore... They'll work with any boss type adaptor, you'd need to check whether they play nicely with your other pedals on the same power supply though...I used them with my diago with no problems (small clone, small stone) Apparently also good for rat and dod pedals...I didn't know that mint condition. My guitarist friend is now looking after my okf (the one you modded with a gain and volume control) so it's a tkf really! He loves it and says it's the most useable fuzz he's ever found and he's a pro sound guy too so he's dead picky!! -
