1. Shem bought my EBS UniChorus, from listing to posting this is the fastest deal I've ever done on bc! about 35 minutes in total! total gent, great comms, paid instantly, let me know it arrived safe...all happy!
2. Superb mate, you're settling in nicely to the' music journalist' type role...I may yet have another Warwick! I love the ethos and attention to detail
3. Seriously beautiful bass mate! I've got a Geddy modified fretless and a Lakland 55-02 on here for sale / trade...would either of them interest you? Links to listings with pics in my sig
4. [s]For sale (or trade maybe) my mint, boxed EBS UniChorus, bought new by me, it's been attached to my pedalboard ever since and been used on one particular song at a couple of gigs, I've got a TC Electronic Corona coming so don't need this anymore... Also listed in classifieds section[/s]
5. Transition indeed, I'd list it in the classifieds section and then start a thread in the relevant market forum with a link to your classified ad...?
6. Jamie just bought my '61 style p-bass, excellent comms, very patient through some vexing courier troubles, top chap! thanks matey!
7.
I just dinged mine. road worn!
Sad times mate, sad times :'( It'd be worse if someone else had dinged one of mine rather than me though!
8.
I've been looking at the Diago Micropower 9 funnily enough, looks good and if no squeal on 9v they do an adaptor which allows it to run at 18v.
The adaptor is another cool thing about diago! I've got a variety of adaptors in use with my powerstation, several 18v ones too! I might have a spare one at the mo as I sold one of my 18v pedals
9. I use a diago powerstation and I've no hum trouble, they're not cheap compared to maplins ones but they are good
10.
Yes people, buy Andy's bass
11. So...I just received my two new basses, ACG Recurve S Type 6 and a Letts 6 string fretless, both beautiful, both have lovely playable necks, neither will fit in my 'grabby hercules stands'!! They're just too wide for the gap!! therefore...I need some new stands if I'm going to play them outside the house (which I am)...help basschat! I need some options of similar quality to the hercules stands!
12.
Hi Andy, afraid not. No need for more basses, cheers Harry
Ah well, if someone will please buy my fretless jazz I'll have this off you!
13. usually a couple of very minor ones either bum notes that I can easily slide out of without anyone noticing or badly fretted notes that don't sound cleanly and are easily fixed... there are always more than I'd like but equally always less than is needed for anyone else to notice! I did once play an absolute howler where I played the chorus chords under a verse while headlining at the Monarch in Camden...I was mortified! It sounded awful...no bugger else noticed!!
14.
That's great to hear matey The asymmetric profile is genius, combined with the flat fingerboard I assume yours has, you get a very VERY comfortable 6 string bass. Due to me being a wee guy, I opted for a slimmer nut profile than usual too, at 52mm, just like a classical guitar, which makes the thing even easier to play - the beauty of a custom instrument Finger crossed I'll be speccing up a 6 string fretless at some point next year, hopefully I can plump for the ACG EQ 03 for it too Eude
Assymetric and flat is easily the best feeling neck I've ever met! The eq03 is sublime! The active/passive switch is barely noticeable volume wise and the passive tone stack still works when in passive mode...genius!
15.
Aaaaahhhhh! My fretless ACG build seems to be progressing well (same pre) and seeing this just increases the anticipation. I'll have to go and lie down in the dark with a damp flannel on my head now.
You're going to love it! Don't forget to breathe Took it to a practice last night and it was just soooo good, any sound I needed was just there (60's thump, modern poppy slap, everything), and, despite being a 6 string I had absolutely no hand ache afterwards! The asymmetric neck profile is perfect!
16. Any trades for basses matey?
17.
Just lovely. I own Gallas No1 now and will not ever be parting with it. What a builder. Need more - yeah yeah - more more, brother.
Thanks matey! The more I play it the better it feels and sounds!! I have a notional spec for a second one but it's a few years away due to cash availability issues :-(
18. Date stamp should be on the inside of the neck pocket, that's where it is on mine...
19. Alex bought one of my drum cases, speedy payment, great comms, hasle free sale, thanks matey!

Help BC

I too have no need of a lanyard so I bought one (and a t-shirt)...keep up the good work BC!
21. try it, you might like it, and if not, don't do it again?
22. ...try switching your pedals around so the tuner's first? (that might help as Boss are buffered whereas SFT is true bypass)

24.
Don't know if it's just me, but I can't seem to see the classifieds on the mobile version of the site.
Me too, wonder if it's a general 'not finished yet' type thing...?
