now SOLD elsewhere

Very recently aquired from a fellow Basschatter (the original owner .... thanks Gareth !), this 2006 German-made Warwick is a beautiful instrument. Simply in mint condition. It has had very very minimal playing time. Just one or two tiny, tiny scratches that are not even photographable (I mention this as I cannot describe it as in "perfect" condition).
There have been a lot of ins and outs with basses at chez-Hamfist recently, trying to find "the one", and I wish I could keep them all. The tones from this bass are everything I'd want but the neck is just a bit too chunky (deep front to back) for me, being more used to Status, Lakland and Jazz size/shaped necks recently.
A seriously versatile bass with it's dual MEC MM humbuckers, each one individually switchable for series, parallel and single coil modes. The single coil tones are particularly nice IMO. The other controls are master volume and pickup blend.
It has a swamp ash body with a maple neck and a wenge fingerboard.

It has been my first Warwick, and I have been so impressed at the adjustability of the neck, nut and bridge. They even go so far as offering adjustable nut height and bridge string spacing. Wish other manufacturers would make this more available !
Suffice to say that you should be able to adjust it to whatever action you like. Currently adjusted to my tastes.

Nut width - 38mm
Neck width at 12th fret - 54mm
Bridge string spacing from E to G - currently 55.5mm (adjustable)
Neck depth at 1st fret - 20.5mm
Neck depth at 12th fret - 28mm

It'll come with a Warwick rockbag and the original Warwick user kit, with the manual, all tools, beeswax etc.

£699 couriered to your door in mainland UK. Please check my feedback as I have had a number of really good transactions on this site. Will pack it in the gigbag, double boxed with a mass of soft packing and bubble wrap. Enough to withstand a nuclear blast.
Sorry, not looking for any trades.
Shipping abroad would also be fine, please contact me for costs.

And a demo vid I just made of the bass. Enjoy me in my pyjamas & dressng gown !

Very much like your video (and curtains ;-p). I think you have demonstrated clearly just how many sounds, and good sounds, the $$ can produce. I was thinking what a great bass it was and almost started regretting why I sold it! I think you are offering it at a great price and it will definitely make someone very happy.

How is this still here?

Seems like no-one has any money at this time of year Markus. I'll be patient into the new year. I'm certainly not going any lower.

THanks Markus. I have a had a couple of recent nibbles about this bass, but it's still available, and really is as MINT as it is described.

Also, I will be away for a few days and may have problems getting online access. I will answer any PMs as soon as I return if unable to whilst away.
