  1. Beware - I have that PSU and the 6x non-switchable 9V outlets are 300mA combined, not per outlet. I found out the hard way!
  2. A classic look for sure and echo all the praise/GAS above!!!
  3. Interesting that such huge news is announced by the notorious April Foolster Kiwi on April 1st... 🤣
  4. There will be a slight latency (probably un-noticable) with the digital mic's but that's about it!
  5. I owned this bass before Paddy and it is a cracker indeed. Great bass, great price and top BC'er - GLWTS!
  6. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  7. To expand - I used my one through 2x Barefaced Gen1 Compacts (1x15 cabs) and it was all there sound wise. Incredible. Loved it. But it just broke me physically humping it around and lifting it onto the top of the cabs. It was like you needed to be a cross between a weight lifter and a furniture removal expert getting it about. I had it mounted in a lightweight 4u ABS case so nothing silly going on there.
  8. I think it was @Happy Jack who once said that the SVT II Pro actually produces the sound in your head when you think of big valve amps. I totally agree with this and it was only the weight of the mother that made me sell it!
  9. Paddy bought my Limelight bass off me and it was a pleasure to meet him and do the deal. Thanks, Jon
  10. Not fair this close to Christmas 😁
  11. IME they will either work together flawlessly, or not! It will be good old trial and error with that. One tip is to keep the aerials as far apart as possible.
  12. Thumbs up from me too Clarky. I can't make your gig on Friday the 13th (good timing!) but 'break a leg' Mate.

  14. Great bass and great price. Sadly I don't have enough dough for it either! GLWTS and have a bump on me!
  15. So, I sold my Les Paul bass to Mark way back when in a GAS fueled rampage! When I PM'd Mark to look to but it back he says: Sorry Jon, that's not allowed under the EU control of GAS Regulations. Rules are there to be broken however so I'll let you buy it on the proviso I get first refusal if you decide to move her on again What a legend and no problem Mark, thanks again.

  17. Interesting read Si, thanks for the link 👍
  18. Just as a heads up only 863 - 865 MHz is licence exempt and free to use. The only other portion that is usable with this IEM transmitter is 830 - 832 MHz but that needs a 'UK Mic licence' from Ofcom PMSE. Everything else is in mobile phone companies frequency ranges or RFID/Cordless phone ranges.
  19. IEMs are part of the solution here but to really sort this one out get him to look at shifting the amp setup for one of these systems: https://www.porteranddavies.co.uk/products/
