R.I.P. from me too.
He was one of the few old Blues Guys that caught and held my attention with his talent and songs.
I only recently found out how supportive and encouraging he was with young up and coming guitarists over the years and that's a rare quality in itself in the topsy turvy music world.
A true legend.
Steve just bought some cabs off me and it was a perfect transaction. Comm's were great all the way and I couldn't recommend him more.
Good to meet you and enjoy them Jonesy!

He probably assumed that, if you could only give him half an hour, you weren't very interested. It would take him ten minutes to set up and then you'd be showing him the door after twenty minutes of noodling.
Try to see it from his perspective.

But it's an audition?! If that's what he was thinking then you would just blow ot out, surely?
Got to love the skinny stringers

This is new to me, can any one tell me how to upload photos. Thanks.
The best way is to upload the pics to something like Photobucket and copy and paste the direct address from there and use the link option (the little chain symbol on the menu bar) so we can see them that way.

Good point Steve, yes it does have the S1 switching, forgot to put it in, will amend, thanks for the heads-up.

Hi Lozz,
What is the weight of this bass please?
Thank you,
Jon
Hi Tomas,
Sadly I think bassjim is right with his price guide of 250 - 300.
I have one too and when I looked to sell it I searched on here for past sale prices and this is what you find, try it.
After a bit of thought I kept it as it's a very nice sounding amp!
Hope that helps,
Jon

Someone who got bad auction fever and probably doesn't even play bass..?
Ha ha and what about the description just saying "Mark hoppus fender precision bass! Fantastic looking bass and plays week too! Any questions please ask! Good luck!"
Wow

No smileys in your post so I can't tell if you are being ironic.... I really hope you are?
No, hence the "All IMO, YMMV, etc" at the end

I Hereby Give Due Warning.
I am going to see Eric Clapton at the RHA on Thursday 21st. May 2015.
I will be taking my walking stick as I'm getting a bit doddery on my pins.
Anyone who attempts to film any part of the concert on their mobile phone, tablet or any other recording device which results in a lit screen being in my line of sight to the stage can expect a very hard belt round the back of the head from my stick.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Nice and aggresive there.
If you belted me round the head for taking a photo at a gig you would be having to extract said stick pieces from where the sun don't shine pretty quickly.
Altenatively you could ask the person to stop ruining the gig for you nicely and/or get a steward to have a word.
The whacking with a stick will probably get you chucked out if caught as well.
All IMO, YMMV, etc

Bump.
Hi Descendent,
A few questions please:
Do you have some pictures of the full bass, front & back, we could see?
How come there's a larger than normal gap between the pickguard and control plate where you see the cavity below?
Can you give us an accurate weight?
Thanks,
Jon

That's really cool!

Thanks Andy and I do like it's snazzy look as well!
I've also edited the ad to include trades now too.
Cheers,
Jon
