1.
...and quotations from actual posts...
Will the people who's posts you want to quote be asked if that's OK first can you clarify please bluejay?
 2. For me it's my old Tacoma Thunderchief acoustic bass. I sold it to a BC'er but he lost track of it after he sold it, when I asked about potentially buying it back.
 3. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
 4. There's the forever low lying GAS for a Wal but the real GAS build up ATM is for a nice Jazz bass here!
 5. Guy bought a bass off me and it was a faultless sale. Highly recommended and a top BC'er, deal with in confidence.
 6.
If you know next to nothing about Jazz basses, you best get yourself out there and try a load....
I think this is good advice to start off with, especially if you're commissioning a bass to be built. Another point is Warmoth do some fantastic parts and are easy to put together IME. You really can get what you want then!
 7.
Hey man, i'm just down the road in West Hampstead. If you decide to split, i'd have one? Thanks P
PM'd
 8.
The weight is 4.00 kg.
Thank BG01 Is shipping included in that price?
 9.
Still for sale !!!!!!
What is the weight please bobglaub01?
 10.
I post mine as mentioned above really - placed in soft plastic bag & then sandwiched between corrugated cardboard within a padded Jiffy Bag. Royal Mail Second Class Recorded delivery is around £4.00 as it's quite a big package. If Mr Postie is rough he could break any big & flat package really - but so far touch wood Touch Wood TOUCH WOOD I've never had a problem.

Never sent one, but if I did it would be like this. Two sheets or heavy duty corrugated cardboard one big enough to cover the pick guard lengthways and the other widthways (when the corrugations are at 90° to the first. Fold the first sheet in half and put the pick guard inside. Tape shut. Fold the second in half and put the package inside. Tape the edges securely. Because the corrugations run at 90° to each other it won't be possible the bend the package easily.
Great advice there Chaps and thanks for sharing.
 11. Muri bought a bass off me and all went well. A thoroughly nice Basschatter.
 12. Hi All, Now sold but info left up for reference. 2 Mk.1 Barefaced Compacts for sale with the optional silver grill cloth upgrade. For the avoidance of doubt they are 1x15" speaker cabs with no tweeters. Specs are: 64cm High x 48cm Wide x 34cm Deep, 12 Kg's/26 lbs, 8 Ohms, 450W, SPL 100dB (1W Broadband). (The 2 cabs combined have a greater sensitivity of 103dB which means free volume!) Thanks for looking!
 13. Price reduction and trade option BUMP.
 14. I used to run a Mesa Boogie Bass 400+ through my 2 Mk.1 Compacts with no issues at all and plenty of everything you would expect sound wise, Guess the 2nd cab made the difference?
 15.
Last one time I posted one, I sandwiched it between 2 pieces of hardboard and then in to a padded envelope.

I've sent on sandwiched beween 2 sheets of brown-box cardboard, with parcel tape round the edge. It worked.
Thanks Chaps, Good ideas and I'll keep an eye out for some card or hardboard.
 16. Hi All, I need to send a P bass pickguard in the post and am having trouble finding something suitable that's not sold in quantity - I only need to send one once! The advice I've had is a cardboard envelope and guessing an Amazon-like packaging thing. I dunno Any tips, pointers & help would be much appreciated, thanks.
 17.
Any particular reason for putting the Cali76 after the VT? And does the Cali76 stay on all the time? (The one on my guitar pedalboard does.) EDIT: I notice you are running the Cali76 at 18 volts - good on yer!
Ha ha, yes good spot! On 18V for the transformer, just awaiting on an adapter cable for that output now. I put the compressor last in the chain as that's just the practice/signal path I was trained to do at work - Gain, EQ, Compression. I just instinctivley set it up that way! It does stay on all the time and you can really see it kicking in and balancing out the string volumes on the meter but, set right you don't notice it there at all while doing it's thing. A great unit IMO
 18.
Nice! Do you not find that the TU2 sucks out some tone? Could be worth taking the signal to it from the VT parallel output if so,my TU2 is a tone killer.
I have done in the past but not noticeably with this setup, I'll investigate though Chiliwailer. Cheers.
 19.
Bass is not for sale anymore. Pulled it Out and will keep it
Good call Oliver. What made you want to sell can I ask?
 20. I've pared back and simplified my board to suit my needs now so here you go! This is a rough layout trial and nothing's velcro'd down in this pic. Signal path is: Tuner into VT Bass Deluxe into Cali76 Compressor. Simple but effective (see what I did there!)
 21. Hi Oliver, I'm on the Fender Forum as jonthebass and was asking you about this bass on your thread over there. It's a lovely thing and as said over there, I tried this out when Coda Music had it in stock. Not often you see a Krause Masterbuilt bass for sale! GLWTS
 22. I can get onto http://www.rock-wire.uk.com/ is that the site you tried?
