1.
Any particular reason for putting the Cali76 after the VT? And does the Cali76 stay on all the time? (The one on my guitar pedalboard does.) EDIT: I notice you are running the Cali76 at 18 volts - good on yer!
Ha ha, yes good spot! On 18V for the transformer, just awaiting on an adapter cable for that output now. I put the compressor last in the chain as that's just the practice/signal path I was trained to do at work - Gain, EQ, Compression. I just instinctivley set it up that way! It does stay on all the time and you can really see it kicking in and balancing out the string volumes on the meter but, set right you don't notice it there at all while doing it's thing. A great unit IMO
 2.
Nice! Do you not find that the TU2 sucks out some tone? Could be worth taking the signal to it from the VT parallel output if so,my TU2 is a tone killer.
I have done in the past but not noticeably with this setup, I'll investigate though Chiliwailer. Cheers.
 3.
Bass is not for sale anymore. Pulled it Out and will keep it
Good call Oliver. What made you want to sell can I ask?
 4. I've pared back and simplified my board to suit my needs now so here you go! This is a rough layout trial and nothing's velcro'd down in this pic. Signal path is: Tuner into VT Bass Deluxe into Cali76 Compressor. Simple but effective (see what I did there!)
 5. Hi Oliver, I'm on the Fender Forum as jonthebass and was asking you about this bass on your thread over there. It's a lovely thing and as said over there, I tried this out when Coda Music had it in stock. Not often you see a Krause Masterbuilt bass for sale! GLWTS
 6. I can get onto http://www.rock-wire.uk.com/ is that the site you tried?
 7.
That's a very nice looking bass
Thanks Chris. Plays and sounds pretty good too
Sorry, my missus bought me a pbass. I still love this though. I thought it would have been sold by now.
No worries Sam and thanks for replying, just wanted to remind you! With a pretty niche bass like this it may take some time to sell.
 8. Do like! I tried this at a Bass Bash when it was Billy Apple's and loved it. If one of mine sells I may be onto this. Out of interest, do you have the the white pickguard for it Beedster?
 9. Ad re-opened BUMP (thanks Rich)
 10. Well done and that'll be an experience and a half
 11.
If this had come up for sale in 3 months time, I would be getting on a train to London to take it off your hands. Unfortunately, my old employer's lump sum payoff does not happen until February. I wish you GLWTS but I hope it's still around when I get me dosh. I'm in love.
It's still here Bassman Sam
 12.
Thanks! How come the frequencies go up in 0.2 MHz increments and 174.5 MHz isn't specifically listed though?
Here's the web page with that info BRX: https://www.pmse.co.uk/equipment/wireless-microphones-and-monitors.aspx
 13.
...Rarely see these come up...
+1 What's the weight please Hutton?
 14.
How are these on bass?
Never tried it with a bass to be honest. I'm sure it would be good though

 17. I'm currently using the Nordstrand P/J SE set and that's a good match to my ear. Also had the SD set of Hot Stack Jazz with the SPB-1 and that was good too.
 18.
Its not that i dont like the sound/tone that the cab is giving me, it jus seems like a lot of the sound is real low frequency that doesnt seem to travel across a room like it should. To me, this is great cause you can often 'feel' the bass while im playing but i was recommended a 2x10 cab to add definition, rather than change the sound...
I think the low end disperstion will be more about the position of the cab in the room. There's a few things to consider and here's a great article about it: http://barefacedbass.com/uploads/BGM58,%20Sep2010.pdf On the definition issue - Frequencies get more directional the higher they get. This means your higher frequencies will currently be blasted into the back of your knees and not making it to your ears! (presuming you put the 1x15 on the floor). A 2nd identical cab will bring the higher frequencies closer to your ears as well as physically 'coupling' with the 1st cab to make things louder/better in general. Hope that helps a little more?
 19. As much as it is, that's a good price for a new custom shop P these days! e.g. http://www.coda-music.com/fender-custom-shop-precision-bass-p-15040.html
 20. Sorry to hear this and I'll keep 'em peeled.
