Has anybody read the gospel according to Terry Waite? He wrote it whilst chained to a radiator in Lebanon. Pete I believe was the name of the aforementioned radiator.

My head is the Markbass SA450. I have been putting it through my Ashdown 4x10 cab with reasonably good results. My question is what would people suggest to marry up the head that may really put my sound to the next level. I like my 10's to be honest and wondered if there is a suitable 2x10 that would give the same uummphh. I like the idea of lightweight but the markgass 2x10 I tried was disappointed with. I suppose my main question is "Is there a really good 2x10 about or is there no getting away from a 4x10?" I hae no beef with Ashdown gear but have a lack of experience with lots of other makes. cheers.

Delilah is piss break song during the 2nd half for me and the drummer. if needed! we usually all manage to get back for the last chorus.

I purchased my marcus jazz and replaced the strings with lighter ones straight away. The neck ( skinny C shape maple) definately moved. I tweeked it a few times and in the end took a bit of advice as well. I am no expert, but some woods move and have "memory" and will try to return to a former position. Make slight adjustments and leave a few days in betwen tweeks. I replace one string at a time these days during a re string which is another piece of advice given to me. It plays like a dream.

He is crap at playing with the who. I would be much better and Geddy Lee would be better than me! Goodbye!

I think there should be some kind of bass rehab clinic. Instead of the Betty Ford clinic, what about the Geddy Lee clinic? Perhaps Paul McKenna will bring out a self help dvd?

Rush got me into guitar and bass. I threw the plectrum away and tried to blast along to Geddy Lee in the early days. To be honest my enthusiasm and progress now comes fro playing in a covers band for the last 15 years. I have to be a jack of all trades. Most can be busked but there are some things that you HAVE to get right, Rhythm stick, watching the detectives, town called malice, who stuff etc .... Floating my boat at the moment is Playing along to Spocks Beard. Not rocket science but plenty of changes and dynamics and tones. I love Rush more than ever too.

Not gigged with pedal yet but I have got my rig out of storage and played about with the pedal. To my delight I have found that wonderful "Moving Pictures" tone. The pedal is very warm but also very subtle and natural. To be honest I may use this like my compressor and have it on all the time, Great stuff and great value because as I mentioned above I get a nice little drive to put through my guitar. I can imagine this would be wonderful with a Telecastor and a Fender twin reverb.
