  1. Very nice looking bass, congrats.
  2. That Hamer's a doozy. I'd love to add this to my collection:
  3. Cracking looking bass. Love that fretboard. Congrats.
  4. "I told you, no one would recognise you".
  5. What a con. Looks like some cheap bass from the 70s. Sounds nothing special either.
  6. Jon Anderson. Peter Gabriel. Nick Drake. David Sylvian. Matt Munro.
  7. Great post and vids. Sounds like the perfect holiday, to me. Congrats.
  8. Had this baby a couple of months now. Fantastic bass.
  9. Congrats, 2 lovely basses. I love Sandbergs. So well designed and built. All at a very reasonable price, too.
  10. They stock some great Sandbergs, which are hard to beat, IMO.
  11. Congrats on a super looking bass. It's so good to get "that" sound, stragiht away. love the colour.
  12. I'd go for the Electra, every time. And that one looks very cool.
  13. Bass Collection, Detroit or Frankenstein basses. S/H Tokai Hard Puncher. +1 on Sanberg Electra.
  14. I did own one of these but it was many years ago and I was mainly playing acoustic guitar, at the time. I do renmember that is was really well built, nicely finished and sounded great, with quite a variety in tone. Can't remember if it was neck heavy, as I wasn't gigging as a bassist, at the time. It's a real looker and will definitely stand out, in a crowd, IMO. Sorry, that's all I've got. Got to be worth checking out though.
  15. That Jabba is stunning. Love the colour scaheme and block markers. Classic. Congrats.
  16. I enjoyed the video, thanks for posting it. He seems an interesting and genuine guy. IMO, MusicMan make some of the best instruments in the world. Well worth their price tag.
  17. The Duesenberg Motown looks/sounds awesome.
  18. Very cool. What pickups did you use?
  19. I have a Double $$, not nearly as pretty as that one though. They'll be lucky to get half that, for it. Shame really.
  20. Anything by Meatloaf The Time warp.
  21. Incredibly cool, bunch of basses. The newbie is particularly fine, as is the Hofner. Great collection.
  22. In my teens and 20s I'd sit and listen for hours to my HiFi speakers or headphones. Now I mainly listen in the car or through my M-Audio speakers, connected to my laptop. Love cruisin' forums and youtube for new bands.
  23. Hey fella, there's some more space, above the strings, for more knobs! Seriously though, that's a lovely looking bass. My pet hate, is mini-switches. They just look cheap, to me. Though, all but one of my basses, has them.
