    Lovely! Always wanted one of them. I had a Hohner cricket bat one about 25 years ago - that was pretty good too.

    Have any of you East fans put a J-Retro in a PJ bass? Did it work with the P element?

    I've had a few basses where they have been in the case, and I have tried them - particularly on the Miller jazz I had, but ultimately they just get in the way for me. I like to change where I pluck the strings a lot so any cover over the pickup just gets in the way. The bridge cover is always a no as some tunes really need a plectrum and a bit of bridge muting. I like the look on the Miller jazz but it's not usable for me.

    Darkglass M900 and a Barefaced cab from the more trad range. Two10 or a Four10 cab would be awesome and light.

    I’m loving the model of the Acoustic 360. i just had a look at the prices of the 2012 reissues... I’ll stick with the Helix!

    I'd like to know what bass was being used. It sounds a lot like the MM with the treble and bass maxed already.

    I think I want one. How bad is the fan noise?

    I’ve not tried them but the Phil Jones D-400 and the D-1000 are both fanless. If f they can manage 1000W without a fan so can everyone else.

    For cheap compressors I really like the Marshall ED-1. I have some expensive compressors too, but I'll never sell any of the ED-1s I have. I love them!

    Helix. It's superb on bass. And the main guy in charge of the Helix at L6 is a bassist so we'll definitely keep getting more toys in firmware updates.

    They are a bit sticky to touch. Look cool, but overall a bit crap.

    Rehearse at gig volume. Set your settings at gig volume in a full mix. Anything else just causes problems. And that applies to every type of rig.
