  1. I think the B3K at low drive does that far better than the VMT. I use the B3K circuit all the time in my big band - low gain, low blend, tone at about 10 o' clock. Gives just enough bite to cut through without sounding bright. Pedal wise - if you can find an old Zoom Power Drive PD-01 then you can get a lovely round tone on that. Gain to taste and treble down. In fact there is one on ebay at the moment: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/zoom-power-drive-pd-01-rare-overdrive-pedal/192981858593?epid=1323321713&hash=item2cee9d7921:g:RQoAAOSwc2NdJFeh
  2. Spam their facebook with explanations as to what a crap idea it is
  3. Sounds pretty good to me!
  4. I played a Zon Hyperbass with a big band for a while.
  5. 20 frets. Sometimes I really want 21 for that other E!!
  6. Give them the Brexit Party's mail email address.
  7. Andertons are listing the Xotic BB Bass preamp at £129 rather than the RRP of £210.00. I've never tried one, but I'm quite tempted at that price! https://www.andertons.co.uk/brands/xotic-effects/xotic-bb-preamp-bass-pedal
  8. Just keep £500 in the re-valve time pot!
  9. Never going to happen at that price! The 'Bergs are cheaper than US Fenders anyway so I wouldn't call them expensive.
  10. That's a Sandberg TT Superlight. And they are under 7 lb! (mine is 6.8 lb) Also available as TM (J and MM) and a P or PJ - as special orders.
  11. I used a Digitech BSW for Deeper Underground. It got close enough as long as I was careful with picking dynamics.
  12. Make sure you play it in E Flat though. If your guitarist wants it in E - sack him and get a better player.
  13. Really? It sounds like a fretless to me!
  14. Black Velvet is just the back pickup on a jazz. Bass and mids boosted, treble turned down a bit. I think the original was recorded on a fretless, but a fretted is close enough.
  15. My One10s look like that. But I have to say - having owned no end of cabs over 30 years - I don't care.
  16. I would like that too. And weigh under 8lb. My American Special Precision is 7-3/4 lb so it is possible!
  17. New Bfsite says 4 ohms. https://barefacedaudio.com/products/six_10
  18. Play lighter.
  19. If I’m playing in the sun I’ll wear one. Otherwise I won’t.
  20. From old pics I've found I think the Legacy's ARE the fusion heads - just been a name change. I found some pics of "New Fusion" heads and they look just like the Legacy models.
  21. https://www.fender.com/product-registration/serial-search
  22. I swap between the 760FX and rounds on my Sandberg depending on what I’m playing. They are great strings.
  23. Tuner first. If you only have those 2 pedals then something like a OneSpot would be fine. If you later get more pedals you'll need a proper power unit with isolated outputs. Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 / Gigrig / etc etc
