I sold a 'Woodcutter' Rat a while back for a song just because a certain chap who made them ('Woodcutter') made better Rats...from the same components as everyone else who made them. Anyone be able to identify the bass Colin Angus is playing in this video ? This springs from a late-night discussion with a guitarist friend of mine. To me it looks closest to a Westone, but he reckons something like a Kay. There's a good view at 2.25 - 2.38.

Yes, I got the sound of an 'L' too. I can almost hear a vowel sound at the beginning, like there's three syllables but the first is very quiet. Estatlin' is the nearest approximation I can get.....not that that really helps
