I asked Mrs. Pook (for some vox pops) and she said 'Another one bites the dust' She reckons it because it's the first hook you hear in the song. In 'Good Times' it all kicks off with the strings, guitar and the piano, so the bass doesn't leap out from the start.

I've used a launchpad...not a push tho.

Conversely, get a guitar. Why not ? Knowing another instrument is always cool and it'll cross-pollinate with your bass playing. Or summit.

All being well I should be the owner of a B3 by tomorrow evening. I'm particularly interested in using it to supply the 'every now and again pedals' like modulations and synths instead of lugging 5 pedals when I may only use once in a while.

It was a sound of its own but the Tronographic Rusty Box is by far the best sounding dirty pre pedal I've used.

I've had this for a month or so, but it's my Christmas present from my lovely wife. She saw me looking at it online and said it was too lovely not to buy. It's a cracking bass as well...but I knew that as I have a black one already I'm a very lucky man indeed.
