1.
Which one is that from? Slaughterhouse, or Titan? Or one of the others? Love Vonnegut, I'm very sad he is no longer here.
Slaughterhouse 5 (but I had to check !). Sadly missed. So it goes.
2.
ACS ER15 custom moulded plugs for me.
I used the ACS ER20 off-the shelf ones - I really should invest in some customs tho. Thanks for the reminder.
3.
Yes I get that too.
Wearing ear plugs and accepting that sometimes you need to move around a venue to find a bass-light spot are my advice, but I've left gigs early for just this reason.
4. Maybe you're got a sensitivity to very low frequencies ? I find the 'swamp' of sub-bass you get at festivals to be almost intolerable after a few hours, perhaps this is something along those lines ?
5.
I feel somehow disenfranchised..
Thought I could smell chlorine.....
6. Straight for the solid-bodied, angled for the semi-acoustics.
7. "All moments, past, present and future, always have existed, always will exist. The Tralfamadorians can look at all the different moments just that way we can look at a stretch of the Rocky Mountains, for instance. They can see how permanent all the moments are, and they can look at any moment that interests them. It is just an illusion we have here on Earth that one moment follows another one, like beads on a string, and that once a moment is gone it is gone forever." - Kurt Vonnegut
8. I don't see any reason why you wouldn't.

Gone

Sizeable 3U sleeve/rack unit (460mm rackable depth), louvred top and side handle. What could you use if for ? A bass amp sleeve maybe ? Has racks at rear as well. I'll chuck in a big of fixings too. Free to anyone who wants to mosey on down to swinging North London (Tottenham to you) to pick it up.
10.
Like butter..?
Maybe an oily butter, like that Bertolli stuff.
11. Bet it plays real smooth.
12.
Collapsed during a performance of 'There's No Business Like Show Business', aged 87. Signed out doing what she loved. I can think of worse ways to go.
Agreed. Playing yourself off...what great way to go. Godspeed.
I made a 3-pole filter kit.....
Ahhh, but is it good for (heavy) metals ?
15. I've never had problems with strings moving but then I don't slap. The strings do make little paths for themselves eventually.
16. Is this about laying down the bottom end ?
17. Thinking about it, I don't like any blue guitars. Or green. They're just not guitar colours to me. Edit: Sonic Blue...I'll give you Sonic Blue...but that's more white than blue, really
18. Halfords...great idea.
19.

And another
20. Play it a plectrum to annoy the purists. Warm up a bit first...always a good rule to be honest.
21. Well here it is, all done. Last couple of changes were a Badass bridge and a pair of Gemini Pickups Dawn Lightnings. It sounds and feels lovely and I'm very pleased indeed.
22. Same, same...but different. Kinda unsettling isn't it ?
23. Maybe the people who make 'prog' don't use guitars as much
