    Zoom R16 help.

Well you can certainly record and playback using the R16 standalone. Whether or not it's usable for mixing will depend on quite how much, and what, you want to do, mainly because the small LCD screen is fiddly, at best. IMO, YMMV etc. Download the user manual - see what you reckon ? P.S. it's a fantastic bit of kit - wouldn't be without mine.
  2. I've a black V4, and wanted to swap the white scratchpad for a black one. Got a used one, that apparently came from another V4, and it's different - screwhole spacing/position, neck cut out etc. Not massively different, and can doubtless be made to fit, but it's not identical to the original.
  3. At a very primitive level, I've used a Zoom b9 through my bass rig...
  4. But do you know that the location (or administrative address etc) of your service providers POP, that you were connected to at that time, wasn't there? IMO it's one of those things that developers see as "k3wl", but in reality it's pretty pointless.
  5. I don't think it's buggy. I reckon it's working exactly as intended. Trouble is, "as intended" isn't what users expect, or very useful.
  6. Not mine, they didn't. Outside of the 12 month warranty period, they weren't interested.
  7. How urgent is this? I've a Barefaced Compact (that might be for sale), but I've a family bereavement to deal with first.
  8. My amp does 500W into a 4 Ohm load. 350W for an 8 Ohm load. Adding an 8 Ohm dummy load would mean 250W into an 8 Ohm speaker (<350W) and 250W into the dummy load, serving no useful purpose. Or something.
  9. Impedence and resistance aren't the same thing.
  10. Doesn't matter. Whatever space you're allocated, it's always a bit too small. The overspill from under the stairs resides in the living room, conservatory and spare bedroom. And the car boot. And a mates house & garage....
  11. And that's exactly why I love 'em.
  12. I noticed a couple of weeks back that one of my Hercules stands has developed sticky handle syndrome. They haven't replied to my email...
  13. I don't think it's as simple as that. I'm currently using a laptop with IE, and can see locations (when they're there...) without having to delve into profiles. However, despite seeing several statements from admins etc that there are no longer different mobile and full/desktop sites, my own experience is different, when I'm using different devices (desktop/mobile/tablet) and browsers. I don't see locations on my phone.
  14. FWIW, I had a location set on the old site. Upon seeing your post above, I checked my details in My Profile, and my location was blank, so I guess at least some locations were lost during the change to the new forum site/software/
  15. Can ya move that lot mate - I can't see the telly.
  16. Yup...me too. I see lots of wasted space and tiny text (viewing almost exclusively on mobile devices)
  17. Scrap that. Nothing changed here, and prices are now showing where they weren't before...
  18. Really? Looking at the Ashdown 4x8 ad, on the 1st page, as an example - I can't see a price anywhere. FWIW I'm using an Amazon Fire tablet, with the default Silk browser, and I've tried both the desktop and mobile view. Edit: just tried Opera...no different. I'll get a laptop out, and give that a go. Edit: OK - I've tried Firefox and Chrome on Windows, and it's working. Tried the default browser on my Samsung (Android) phone, and the price is still not showing. Tried Firefox on the phone, and the price is there. Looks like it's a browser thing
  19. Seems that the "price" field has gone AWOL. Unless the price is mentioned in the thread title or body text, old For Sale ads don't show a price. Or am I missing something?
  20. Apparently, as I've been looking at cameras and stuff lately, I should also be interested in food mixers and other kitchen gadgets that I didn't even know existed. An egg boiler that looks like a chicken FFS!
