I got this in a trade but I rarely play 5 string basses enough to justify keeping such a high spec instrument. It’s a hybrid Status/Musicman Sterling bass with a custom Sims finish. The bass features lightweight Hipshot tuners, Delano pickups and of course a superb Status graphite neck. It weighs 4kgs and comes with a gigbag. I’m looking for cash as there’s a vintage bass I’m interested in. I’d consider a swap but only for a Fender US Dimension 4. This is a lot of bass for not much money. It plays and sounds superb. I’ve had one of these, I really liked it and it was super light and had a versatile sound too. Definitely worth looking at if you are interested in a quality 5 string with a comfortable string spacing. I’ve just bought a Status 5er otherwise I’d be asking for postage rates! GLWTS

Musicman StingRay HH 4 Bass Cased US made approximately 2015 The bass is in near new condition with only minor finish blemishes on the edge of the body. The bass has been rarely played and has spent most of its life in its case. I am the second owner and I bought it as I wanted to try the HH version of a StingRay. I prefer a maple board however therefore I’m looking to sell it to buy a maple neck option unless someone has a Musicman bass with maple neck to trade? I’ve not seen an HH in white before and it really gives it a vintage look. It comes with all case accessories and keys, string wipes, etc. all unopened. It’s finished in creamy white or vintage white if you prefer. It weighs 4.4kgs and is well balanced and very comfortable to play. Frets are as new and the rosewood board is lovely and dark with a satin feel neck. One odd thing is that the strap buttons are a pewter colour to my eyes but there isn’t evidence to suggest they have been changed as they look like standard buttons for an EB strap lock system. The bass has the usual MM trussrod and original bridge all working as they ought to. The hardware and electrics are top quality. It has a good action and plays very well, set up for my tastes and is currently strung with 40-100 Rotos. Here’s the Musicman blurb... Featuring a dual alnico-backed humbucker design, five-way selector switch for easy combination toggling and the coveted built-in three-band equalization, the Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay 4 HH offers double humbuckers for great tonal variation. Cash on pickup preferred but I can post within the UK if needed at buyers cost. Trade wise I’m ONLY interested in Musicman US made basses with maple boards, I’m not interested in Bongos or SUBs. A very Geddy looking MIM Jazz Bass for sale with maple neck and black finish. The bass plays and sounds as a Jazz ought to and is light and well balanced at around 8.3lbs. The neck is in superb condition other than one tiny ding around the 16th fret. The body has a few scuffs and one major ding about the size of a 50p piece where it’s sustained a knock. The paint part is cracked and has been glued and there is an area of bare wood . I was planning to patch this with some black enamel but haven’t got round to it yet as it’s not visible from the front. Neck is straight and frets are good, it’s spent it’s time as a spare recently so since taking the pics I’ve put on some fairly new rotosound strings. It really has got a lovely neck, very slim with a satin finish. Extremely comfortable to play over long gigs. It comes with a Fender gigbag. No trades. I’m only selling as I’ve just got a Musicman Bass. Pickup preferred UK only post at buyers cost. PS open to sensible cash/PayPal gift offers of course! I’ve now touched up the ding and added Roto strings. Plays superbly and has that real Jazz mid range honk to it.
