Erica Synths Pico System III Eurorack Version This is a fantastic two oscillator modular system with sequencer, delay and mixer. You can also use ‘preset’ cards to access sounds instantly. It comes with 5 pre patched cards and 5 to create your own sounds. One I’ve already patched to make a simple test preset for the sequencer which can easily be desoldered and reset. The unit is boxed and comes with manual, splitter, cards, overlay ‘patches’ and blank cards. It is in excellent condition and includes the ribbon lead to connect to your eurorack. The patch leads in the first photograph are not included. Note that this is the eurorack version and not the standalone version. A great modular synth in excellent condition. Price includes UK postage.

Bergantino CN112 Bass Cab Lightweight bass cab with 12’’ woofer and adjustable tweeter it weighs just under 13kgs and has a compact footprint. It is in very good condition and comes with original Bergantino cover also in good condition. There are some scuffs to the corners, etc but nothing major. Apparently it is the redesigned version of the classic AE112, it retains the clean/smooth detailed highs, from the acclaimed HD tweeter and cross-over, plus tight, smooth mids and plenty of low end that defies it’s size. 350 watts 8 ohms impedance. Selling as I have too many cabs and not enough opportunities to use them! Pickup preferred as I’m not sure I have a decent big enough box. Possibly post now at buyer’s cost as I have found a box.

Barefaced Big Baby This is the first version of the cab as confirmed by Alex. It has a 12” Woofer and a tweeter. It’s 350 watts RMS and will take amps up to 600 watts according to the manufacturer. The impedance is 8 ohms. A fantastic cab in excellent condition but a bit big for my limited storage space as I now have custody of all the PA gear. I’d be interested in a sale or a swap for a smaller Barefaced cab (Midget, Compact or 10 perhaps) in excellent condition and of a similar power rating. The cab comes with a nice Roqsolid cover also in excellent condition. It weighs 16.9 kgs with the cover so nice and light. Measurement wise it is 64cms in height, 50 wide and 34cms deep. There is a tiny ding that has been touched up on the underside and to the right of the front port/vent area. The cloth is excellent and so is the covering. The handle rubber has come away slightly but you can only see this when pulling the handle. I could post if necessary but it will be at the buyer’s cost. Pickup preferred. I don’t use a car so I can’t meet halfway. Sorry. UK only. PM me any questions or offers. Thanks.

Cre8audio West Pest Westcoast Style Standalone Semi Modular Synth Here’s my West Pest synth. It’s a design based on Don Buchla’s west coast style synthesiser concept. Made by Cre8audio in partnership with Pittsburg Modular. It’s got a built in sequencer and is very powerful for a small form single oscillator synth. It can be used as a standalone synth in its case with independent PSU (included) or added to a eurorack system. It can be patched with any modular eurorack or similar module or synth. In excellent condition. I own two with one in my eurorack so this isn’t getting the attention it deserves. Great little easy to use synth to introduce you to modular synthesis and patching. It comes boxed with four patch leads, PSU and quick start sheet. Full manual online. Price includes UK postage. Info here - https://www.cre8audio.com/westpest

Fender Musicmaster Bass 1971 This is the rarer first issue of the Musicmaster bass. This is the baby of the Fender range of this era and has a 30” scale. This early version has the smaller logo and model name with the distinctive hooked R. The tuners are original with the tulip shaped keys, later models had Schaller types. The neck is nice and easy to play, it has a lovely dark rosewood board and 19 frets. Truss rod works as it ought to and the action is low and comfortable. It also intonates very well for a two saddle bridge shorty. The bass had been modded years before I bought it and had been routed for a reversed Precision bass pickup rather than the original rather weedy sounding Strat pickup. I swapped the pickup for a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder as the fitted pickup was in poor condition. I also removed the ‘choke’ from the original wiring circuit as this was probably used to make the original Strat pickup sound darker. I will include the choke with the bass. The pots and Bakelite knobs are all original. The scratchplate is one I made. It’s rather rough but does the job. I have the original one but it has been modded to accommodate the P pickup and the original pickup cavity patched. I’ll include this of course. The finish is original with lots of dings, touch ups, crazing and darker patches where stickers have been removed. It has had a long life as a gigged bass. It looks great because it’s been played and loved. I’ve personally used this for all my gigs over the last year. It sounds punchy and has a surprising tonal range. It’s light at around 3.7kgs and very easy to play. I’m selling because I’m getting back to playing long scales. I don’t want trades sorry and it’s UK only. I can post at the buyer’s expense and/or arrangement. I’ve included pictures of the original scratchplate and a template I made, plus the choke and wiring before I removed the choke. All are included. It came with a quirky home made padded bag as pictured. I’ve dropped the price to encourage a quick sale.

Sterling Stingray Shortscale This is the newest version and comes with roasted maple neck with rosewood board and custom single ply scratchplate and original white scratchplate. Gotoh string retainer. The neck was originally a maple board one but it got damaged so I swapped it round with another Sterling Stingray I bought. I think the red looks great with the rosewood board. It’s very light at 3.6kgs. Scale length 30”. Excellent condition and the neck is lovely. I’m going back to long scale playing so selling off a few short scales I have accumulated. No trades UK pickup preferred postage will be around £20 if required. I have the original box.

Fender Mustang PJ MIM A feeler and please remove if it’s in the wrong section or if spares/repairs isn’t acceptable. I’m selling this as a spares project although it is functional albeit not pretty. I bought it earlier this year. It looked water damaged and an absolute mess. I bought it for the body and hardware and pickup parts, the plan being to strip it and buy a new neck for it. The neck had a lot of lacquer cracks and splits around the trussrod veneer at the back and headstock fascia. It needed some rewiring and a new tone pot and all the hardware cleaning with a wire brush. The finish was lifting in lots of places but there were no obvious cracks in the body - I thought about stripping it and finishing it with Tru-oil but haven’t got round to it. When it arrived I thought it wasn’t as bad as I had expected so I cleaned it up. Did the work on the pots, etc. the pickups were fine. I watched a video of rescuing a neck in similar condition and had a bash using epoxy resin. So I tried that and clamped it for a few days and gave it a light sanding to make it feel smooth under the hand. I’m no luthier, I just did it for as an experiment for fun. To my surprise the neck was okay to play and the trussrod worked and adjusted as it ought to. I have actually rehearsed and gigged with it as a spare for my old Fender Musicmaster. The headstock fascia and back has lots of hairline splits in it that I filled with titebond and clamped. They’ve been fine but again I wouldn’t really trust it as a main gigging bass. I must emphasise it’s probably best described as a Fender Mustang body (genuinely Roadworn bass) with a free neck. It’s a fun beater as is or you could put some more work into it to make it into a nice project. You could put another neck on it (I had bought a Bronco neck that unfortunately didn’t materialise thanks to a dodgy courier). The parts are all pretty decent after cleaning. It weighs around 3.7kgs. Here are pics, I can post more if there is interest. The last pictures are when I got it. God knows what had happened to the poor thing! No trades I can post in the UK.

Mine was rewired by Martin Nash (RIP) who was on here some years ago. Martin and I became friends via a lot of Shergold and Hayman dealings and email chats. I bought the bass from eBay from the original owner’s widow. When I opened it up to have a look in the control cavity I found a note and wiring diagram…..from Martin! Must have been fate - I told the original owner’s wife who was amazed at the coincidence. She also told me her husband had been in a Joy Division/New Order tribute and that the bass had been played by Hooky at a local gig. Here’s a pic of Martin’s diagram…

Pickup on mine is strong so it may be a faulty one or wiring issue. The Eastwood ones seem to have a generic humbucker. It didn’t sound like my original at all.
