  1. Sub Phatty - it’s a great self contained synth although the keyboard is only two octaves I can use it with my full size midi keyboard. The Sub 37 is not as warm sounding in my opinion although it’s a very flexible synth. The Grandmother is the nearest thing to my old Moog Rogue in terms of sound and the sequencer is much more immediate than the 37. Heck I’d keep them all but I have to think about my finances and room space. The other thing about the Sub Phatty is that it’s built like a tank and it’s oscillators stabilise in 30 seconds so it’s perfect for sweaty pub gigs.
  2. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Custom-Made-Fender-PRECISION-P-BASS-Copy-Guitar-Good-Electrics-V-Solid/192882894330?hash=item2ce8b765fa:g:1TEAAOSwt2FcqQvj Custom made eh? Edit - I’ve contacted the seller and told them it’s a Kay and they actually replied and thanked me.
  3. I know I’ve gone through a few but I’m keeping the Moog Sub and my vintage ‘76 Arp Odyssey. This is a great synth but I prefer the convenience of the Sub for live work and the Arp is my studio synth.
  4. This is my Markbass Traveller cab complete with cover. It’s a very loud and punchy cab and very easy to move about. It is in excellent condition with minor scuffing to the covering. The Markbass logo has been removed however it’s included in the sale. No trades I’m selling as I need to downsize my gear. Cash on collection unfortunately I have no packaging with which to post this. Thanks!
  5. Yes the neck looks like it’s from an Ibanez Eagle or the Antoria version, however I thought the logo on both models was inlaid? Perhaps it was a decal on a painted headstock originally?
  6. Pm sent
  7. Would you post?
  8. Moog Grandmother Analog Synth. This synth is as new and unregistered. It’s a great two oscillator synth with built in sequencer and plenty of patching options and spring reverb. The synth comes boxed with psu, patch leads and manual. A brilliant synth but more for the studio than for live work in my opinion. I’d prefer pickup in person as I’m not keen on posting synths. I may consider posting in its original packaging UK only at buyer’s cost. No trades.
  9. Yes I’d ship it depending where you are
  10. Sorry not likely to be heading down towards London in the near future and I don’t have any facilities to record it - it is a very versatile bass though.
  11. Wow yes it must be I got it as it is now - I wish it were a four as it is indeed quality! Thanks for the picture.
  12. I got this in a trade but I rarely play 5 string basses enough to justify keeping such a high spec instrument. It’s a hybrid Status/Musicman Sterling bass with a custom Sims finish. The bass features lightweight Hipshot tuners, Delano pickups and of course a superb Status graphite neck. It weighs 4kgs and comes with a gigbag. I’m looking for cash as there’s a vintage bass I’m interested in. I’d consider a swap but only for a Fender US Dimension 4. This is a lot of bass for not much money. It plays and sounds superb. Can discuss courier options UK only if necessary. Now SOLD!
  13. The perennial question - weight please? 🙂
  14. Withdrawn I’m keeping it 😊
  15. Yes I’ve been chatting to the seller about it I’m just trying to get an accurate weight for it.
  16. I’ve had one of these, I really liked it and it was super light and had a versatile sound too. Definitely worth looking at if you are interested in a quality 5 string with a comfortable string spacing. I’ve just bought a Status 5er otherwise I’d be asking for postage rates! GLWTS
  17. Wow what’s its weight please?
  18. I think this has been featured on here before.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1983-RARE-Reeve-Guitars-Alligator-Boutique-Custom-Vintage-UK-Wal-Bass/123664457431?hash=item1ccaf9ded7:g:uWUAAOSw6fBcdGla
  19. Weight please?
  20. Nice what’s its weight? Any case or bag and where are you?
  21. Yes they were set necks
  22. Okay look at the way the bridge has been mounted with routing firstly, but the headstock inlays are wrong - similar to a later RD Artist? The body looks legit but are the ‘inlays’ stickers or aftermarket custom jobs? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1972-Gibson-SB450-Vintage-Bass-Guitar/273721505591?hash=item3fbb12b737:g:BZIAAOSww4Jcb71G
  23. Well done I’m glad it went to a fellow Basschatter and JV lover!
  24. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-70s-Bass-guitar-humbucker-pick-up-cover/132925209758?hash=item1ef2f5bc9e:g:1SwAAOSwZ8pcQdt~
  25. I messaged them when I first saw it but haven’t heard back. I’d like to see if the wiring is cloth with brass plates under the pickup. The knobs have been changed - usually on older JVs the chrome flakes off. It would look great in my collection but I’m miles from them ☹️
