    I’m looking to sell or trade this lovely corona Jazz from around 2008 if anyone is interested. It comes with case and all accessories and is in excellent condition. The neck is unmarked and plays like a dream. It weighs 4kgs. I am looking to trade for a US Precision - nothing else sorry - I prefer maple boards too. Happy to post in the UK at cost. Thanks

    My first JV - a Jazz which I bought used in 1986 - was £95 and mint and I still own it. I briefly borrowed my second in 1991 and then bought it for £225 a year or so later as I loved it so much. That was a Precision. Both fantastic instruments that I did let go of for a time - either lent out or sold - but regretted and bought back. I’ve had many JVs and sold them on but not these two as I’ve learned the error of my ways at last! I am still looking for a maple neck Precision in black however. This person should have saved another few hundred quid and bought one from Basschat!

    It went for £360! I bowed out at £88. They are great basses but in that condition? I do wish good luck to the buyer but I think that’s a bidding war that got a bit over enthusiastic given the state of the item!

    I owned one of these - the best Markbass cab I’ve heard - it can fill any room and has a real presence. Just a bit big for my gigging needs at the time. I’m sorely tempted but a little too far from me. Whoever buys this will be very happy indeed. GLWTS.

    They remind me of the old Dan Armstrong London Sliding pickup basses or the Ampeg plexiglass basses in shape. I really like the look. As a long term Gibson Grabber owner I think Gibson basses are great when they get it right and this model looks right to me! I’m very tempted at the price they have them at Reidy’s . I could buy one contour the upper bout where the forearm would rest and replace the pickup with my spare Grabber pickup.

    Yes mine is a two way switch and it’s the original one. My mate has one and that is two way also. Thanks that’s a great help though!

    Would you happen to have a picture of how the switch/loom is wired up? The pickup works but in one position the E&A strings have a much lower output than G&D I’m wondering if it’s been wired up wrongly? Cheers

    I took delivery of the bass in the ad today, it’s in good shape overall and the pickup does have a bit of an output. The bridge is toast however so until I can source one I’ll use an old brass one I have in my spares box. Build quality is beautiful and it’s so light compared to my SB700. If anyone has a suitable Aria bridge let me know....😉

    The synth pedal was bought on a whim but has been unused other than to test it out. It’s as new with box and all accessories and is unregistered. Price includes UK postage. No trades thanks.
