As Troubadour says looking at Google it appears that it’s a similar story to Dr Bass. Where a product was raved about and then sheer numbers of orders and poor management caused its downfall. The victim of its own success perhaps?

Jon, I was looking up the story about the connection between Ned Callan and Shaftesbury and came across this ridiculously incorrect article again.
Spot the mistake!
I have seen this before and had pointed out the obvious errors to Rose Morris however it remains.....

Was yours a Shaftesbury version? I think the construction differed on later models. I’ve always wanted one of the Cody basses (or was it a Hombre?) - knobbly Neds - that looked like a piece from a jigsaw. This guy sells a lot of project grade instruments at inflated prices. If you look up a Google search this bass sold on Gumtree for less than £200 a few years ago. It was the same bass as it had the custom scratchplate. I’d risk it for £200 so I may PM him and see if he’s amenable to offers.

Logo is dodgy and that’s funny looking ‘maple’.
Very odd looking things I remember seeing a few of the Wandre/Davoli instruments in some old guitar books.
I thought that there were some chancers on eBay but some of the prices on Reverb are bonkers! Vastly inflated - I’ll bet there are some very disappointed buyers out there and very happy sellers....that’s if anything ever sells.
Markbass Ninja 102- 250 for sale.
I recently bought the combo from here and it comes with box and homemade cover. It’s just a bit too bulky for what I need it for therefore I’ve decided to move it on for the price I paid. It’s not been used other than one rehearsal. It sounds great and plenty of umph.

I’d prefer pickup on this but could post in the UK at buyers cost using UPS.
Only trades would be a straight swap for a Minimark CMD 121P or a Micromark 802 or a Barefaced cab 1x15 of 1x12. £380 for quick sale.
Everything......logo, tuners, bridge, serial placement, mismatched timber, burst, cheap looking neck, string tree, truss rod access, oh the neck plate may be real...
I’m looking to sell or trade this lovely corona Jazz from around 2008 if anyone is interested. It comes with case and all accessories and is in excellent condition. The neck is unmarked and plays like a dream. It weighs 4kgs.
I am looking to trade for a US Precision - nothing else sorry - I prefer maple boards too. Happy to post in the UK at cost.
Thanks
My first JV - a Jazz which I bought used in 1986 - was £95 and mint and I still own it. I briefly borrowed my second in 1991 and then bought it for £225 a year or so later as I loved it so much. That was a Precision. Both fantastic instruments that I did let go of for a time - either lent out or sold - but regretted and bought back.
I’ve had many JVs and sold them on but not these two as I’ve learned the error of my ways at last! I am still looking for a maple neck Precision in black however.
This person should have saved another few hundred quid and bought one from Basschat!
It went for £360! I bowed out at £88. They are great basses but in that condition? I do wish good luck to the buyer but I think that’s a bidding war that got a bit over enthusiastic given the state of the item!
I owned one of these - the best Markbass cab I’ve heard - it can fill any room and has a real presence. Just a bit big for my gigging needs at the time. I’m sorely tempted but a little too far from me. Whoever buys this will be very happy indeed. GLWTS.
