  1. Glasgow gig for me if I can get a ticket before it sells out.
  2. Spotted this on ebay. Sounds pretty good for a portable instrument and way cheaper than the Aria Sinsonido. Anyone here got one? https://youtu.be/vEtHIO1FBGg
  3. I have this head with matching 1x12 4ohm cab and it can cope pretty well with a funk band including horns. I still run a line through the PA but it has a lovely warm tone, perfect for anyone into their vintage Fender tone and is light, compact etc. My head came with a bespoke padded case and I got a cab cover from Roqsolid. I liked the Eden tone so much I also have the WTDI pedal, which is pretty much the same tone in a small box.
  4. Should look killer having it back in black!
  5. Been unable to locate a UK dealer for the lefty Ibanez Thalman.
  6. I would also say Hondo. Looks a decent made instrument. How's it play and sound?
  7. Looks amazing. Even greater contrast standing next to a natural finish one. Were coloured options common on Warwicks in the 80's? There was a stunning yellow fretless fiver on here recently too.
  8. Jack Bruce would have happily noodled on this. Superb!
  9. Found a 360 animation of Sting's 54' precision and grabbed some pics. On the back of the bass the finish is almost completely worn away. I wonder just how much maintenance an old bass like this really needs given he plays it constantly.
  10. This is looking top-knotch. Look forward to assembly pics.
  11. Didn't Andyjr1515 build something similar? Wonder what he thinks of this one?
  12. If i was a newbie with no posts asking £11k for a bass, i would at least introduce myself, state my location and upload some razor sharp high-res images of the instrument.
  13. I bought this guitar size gigbag for my short scale Ibanez Mikro. Excellent quality. More a soft case than just a gigbag. The pics dont do it justice. Its actually black with brown. Looks black + pink on website. https://www.thomann.de/gb/thomann_premium_gigbag_eguitar_br.htm?ref=search_rslt_Guitar+gigbag_243805_7
  14. Super duper! Is the string spacing on the nut end equal for each string as in, could it be strung in reverse order without any mods?
  15. A gold coloured pickguard like an anodised one would look killer.
  16. I was offered a lefty one for £2500 by a local music store which was closing down some years back. I declined to try it because I knew I would want it if I played it. I later found out it eventually sold for £1750.
  17. Keep coming back to view this. I would be seriously tempted if it were a lefty having owned a fretted BO 4.
  18. Best fretless I ever played was a Wal. I owned a fretless Steinberger L2 at the time but the Wal just blew it away. Sadly I couldn't afford it.
  19. Superb!
  20. I would have a bit of fun and make that dial go all the way up to 11
  21. Had a bolt-on 4 string. Loved - the small size body, the lovely woods, the thin fast-playing neck, the passive/ active electronics. Hated - the neck dive, the ridiculous stretch needed to play those low notes, the angled bridge pickup.
  22. I've been looking at the dot inlays on the 12 fret position and they look kinda squint in the pic above. Is it just me?
  23. Rare as hen's teeth. Pricey though. https://reverb.com/uk/item/3098240-fender-mustang-bass-1968-red-lefty
  24. Down to only two for now although if an original lefty Steinberger should present itself it may become a three-way. On the left, Alvarez mini travel electro-acoustic, and an Ibanez Mikro. Both short scale, compact bodies.
