1. Bargain jazz bass https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262944024230
2.
Had an hour and a half in the garage tonight and got all the frets cut and installed.
Looking superb.
3. From those images that bass promises some serious playing mojo.
4. Vintage Gibson https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/gibson-ebo-left-handed-bass-mid-1970-s/1229663563
5. Someone looking for a nice gigging P bass couldn't go wrong at this price. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282420992064
6. That Status copy certainly looked the business.
7.
Good price for a lot of Bass http://bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Aria_SB700_Lefthanded.html
Definitely. Looks in great nick too.
8. May I ask what was wrong with the original tuners + bridge? Im guessing this is an entry level instrument?
9. Love the spalted beech. Hope to have my little Ibanez Mikro veneered in similar in the not too distant future.
10. It is an after-market anodised pickguard and having bought one from Fender for my formerly owned jap '57 reissue, I can confirm that these are flat-edged and not bevelled, being single ply.
11. Don't imagine I could play a fanned fret instrument upside down being a lefty but looks superb Andy.
12. Body has had a refin but looks superb. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112323966650
13. That's a mean looking fretboard. Gonna be interesting.
14. The gold and black gives the bass a boutique quality and the body shape with that hollow chamber is killer. Have you tried the look of a brass nut instead of black?
15. The current finish on the body reminds me of my former Warwick Thumb bass.
16. Looks amazingly shiny to me. Love the hole on the headstock. Given the massive top horn carve on this, how long did it take to work out where best to put the two strap buttons?
17. I think you will be wanting one that can be plugged in so it can compete and have presence in the mix. Also depends whether you're wanting to replicate an upright sound or not. Budget will also come in to play. Plenty to consider.
18. Great offer dude :-) Whoever gets it will have a blast.
19. A few pics of the actual bass being offered would be nice.
20. If it was mine I would say "GLOSS VARNISH PLEASE!" Looking great and seems a super-fast build. Almost like you sneakily bought a kit and stuck it together :-)
21. Never too many clamps! Look forward to seeing this progress.
22.
Covers (bluetacked) and no guard
I'm liking this.
23. And if it ain't right.... Lined fretless anyone?
