    You'll be sorry.... Amazing basses for the price point....I've had several 5ers before I settled on my TRBs and BBG5s...Yamaha certainly give you a lot of bass for your buck. If I had a passive 4 string I'd make you an offer. GLWTS

    These are nice basses...I played one at LBGS 2018 I believe. Nearly bought one on impulse...no idea how I didn't TBH. One criticism of your post though, they did make quite a lot of them so they're not that rare..I accept that they don't come up for sale very often though.

    I don't want to be a naysayer but it sounds like you're planning on spending a not insignificant amount of money for one particular project. What happens if the project doesn't happen or take off? I suspect your return on the bass, if sold, will be a rather nasty hit....
