I have similar things which seem to be associated with statins - though I've always had them occasionally, so it's not just that. Never while I'm playing, fortunately.

I have a fretless with a dead spot - which, annoyingly, is the D at 7th "fret" on the G string.
Is there a way to sort this out?
I don't really understand why it's happening, either. Can anyone enlighten me?
