  1. Potentially. This occurred to me while allegedly sleeping last night. It ought to be reasonably waterproof, as well, which can't hurt.
  2. This is what I was wondering. Thanks
  3. At the moment I drive about 2 miles to our practice space. I can't leave anything there overnight. I'm wondering about getting there by bike instead. The practice amp is a small combo. Does anyone else do this? If so, how?

    bell emulation

Can anyone suggest an effect which would simulate a bell? Does it need a synth and/or sample, or is there something I could buy off the shelf? Thanks
  5. Mm. Tempting, not least because I have a relative who might be interested (she's 4'11" with small hands).
  6. It's almost tempting to buy the thing just to see how dreadful the joint actually is. Almost.
  7. Have a look at the neck joint. Someone had ideas above their capability, pretty clearly. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/116105481400?itmmeta=01HV9XPQQB16YMM405XW7SDKMH&hash=item1b086d0cb8:g:rDUAAOSwHhll6HDa
  8. The ebay seller, please. I would very much not like to deal with them. (FWIW, everyone here knows you're a sound bloke )
  9. Bought a body, bits and pups for a JB from Mike. Very quick, expertly packaged, good comms. I'd be pleased to deal with him again. Thanks Mike
  10. Pretty! Sadly, I don't need any more basses. Honest.
  11. I bought Lee's cosmetically-challenged White Shadow. All as advertised, seamless transaction, good packing. I'd be pleased to deal with him again. Thanks Lee!
  12. Lawrie's a nice guy and a credit to BC. Deal with confidence. Bump!
  13. Does it stay in tune? I have something like this, and it's so badly made I've never tried to use it.
  14. "Sold as seen"... there's a joke in there trying to get out, but I can't quite find it...
  15. Ooof. Good luck, with the sale and a new job.
  16. Microsoft. Many, many years ago - first task in a new job - "install MS-DOS, Windows 3 and Fortran on that PC". That meant making specific changes in the install of both DOS and W3. There were three manual comments about how to do this, one for each piece of software. They were all different. And they were all wrong. Much later, with Windows 10 they made it impossible to do my (software development) job. Never again.
  17. I was more interested in buckle rash.
  18. No pics of the back of the body. Hmm.
