I’m fortunate that I can get items delivered to my workplace, and as our reception is permanently manned (or is that personned perhaps) any deliveries and I get notified straight away.
But it does annoy me that the no signature thing which happened - rightly imo - during the pandemic has not been stopped, surely the industry regulator should now put things back as they were, no signature and back to depot. We’ve (my work) had Royal Mail claim to have delivered something and when challenged their reasoning was that as GPS showed their vehicle was at our post code that is sufficient. No proof of delivery, no signature, no photos, just GPS in our location. And the regulator is letting this happen.
