1.
PJ seems like a great guy, I know he has given a lot of help and support to the Spector owners over at TB, inculding getting hold of some very limited edition models for them! Despite being a Spector player, I've never emailed him though. I might send him an email just to say that I think Spector basses are bloody brilliant!
PJ and Stuart live by the mantra of 'Customer Service'. In my 26 years of bass playing I have never received better service than I do from them...
  2.
Me in the background a bit:
Nice singer..... grrrr..... Oh, and nice Spector!
  3. I always remove my wedding ring when playing with the KISS tribute band..... otherwise I get fake blood & paraffin under it (which can be sore)... and it prevents me doing lots of @gene-like' bass slides... As an aside, it'd look pretty silly wearing a wedding ring as 'Gene SImmons' - especially when he has been happily unmarried for so long! lol!

    RIP Leftysteve

My deepest sympathy to Steve's family..... very sad news
  5.
This is one of my favourite pictures of me and my old mum, 77 years old. She used to come to my gigs, I took her to see Kiss and Cheap Trick, she likes Rush, Orson and, dig this, the Stone Temple Pilots. She introduced me to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, good science-fiction actually phoned me one time to say she was watching a video of Blink 182 on MTV and said, 'that boy [Mark Hoppus] who plays bass for them looks like you.' Gotta love her. P
She sounds just like my Mum! Mums like ours are the best.... I thank (insert deity of choice) every day for her....
  6.
Most basses apart from P basses, haha, although I would give a Sandberg P a go. Leaning towards a trade for a Warwick with someone on here at the moment.
Make sure it's an older one to make it a worthwhile trade....
  7.
Is it just me or is he always slightly off time? I mean good for a 9 year old, and I'm sure he'll become a great player, but he doesn't seem as prodigious as other young musicians I've seen.
+1
  8.
Stick some frets in and I'd have it
+1
  9. Ooh, that's nice....
  10. Beautiful bass..... and love the colour! The Euro is completely maple whereas the Euro LX is alder back, then a thin slice of walnut and a maple top. Spector say the wood combination makes for a 'stronger fundamental'. I have both models and love each....
  11. White is awesome.... I'm just glad it's not a 4-string as my GAS would overfloweth...
  12.
Sold, pending the usual...
Not surprised..... that's a beauty!
  13. 4 in the KISS tribute 6 in the Function band 7 in the Madness tribute
  14. Hey Mike, glad to see you've finally got pictures of your collection together! Loving the Spector (obviously!), the MM, Stingray, GBs, and the Kubicki.... hope to get familiar with them all soon
  15.
You want to try the TECH 21 heads. Sound awesome, but not valve.
+1,000,000 to that.... My Tech21 Landmark 600 sounds amazing, has 2 channels which can be run seperately or together to create monster tones and is incredibly versatile!
  16. Yep, the retail prices of Spectors have gone up from July....
