This sounds terrible, but once I bought a secondhand guitar, had it delivered to work, dismantled it and took the bits home over a couple of days, and then announced that I was going to 'make something up out of spare parts that I have lying around". It worked.
Superb, I'll have to remember that one...

4.
I can only go on personal experience here. Buy it sneak it in the house, wait a while then put it on display and if ever questioned tell here you've had it for ages. Yes that old failsafe.......lie.
Ah, that old classic......

7. Have a free bump for a beautiful bass! I've got one identical to this & love it... I believe you may be being slightly optimistic price-wise in the current climate, but it's worth every penny.... good luck!

10.
I've just come back from my first visit to Oslo and I loved it. Some of the happiest people I've ever met, should be great gigs. Will you be able to afford to hang out for a few days after the gigs?
We played in Oslo (at The Sentrum) about 10 years ago, but it was a flying visit so barely saw the city. Hopefully as we're at the same venue for two days we'll get a chance for a bit of a wander around this time. Flying straight back the day after though....
11. Lovely, will be a pleasure to meet you all! Please do come up & say Hi! You still won't be able to recognise me in the street afterwards though....
12. LOVE it!

16. Now that's a CLASSIC Warwick! One of the few I'd be seriously interested in owning....
17. That's a beauty! Congrats! As Greeneking noted.... it should be running at 18v anyway so no need for a mod... Also, just curious.....if you don't like/want the pre-amp then why didn't you get Spector to fit the one you want?
18. It's the Shuttle 12.0 I'm waiting to see! Then get myself another Genz Benz Neox-212T and 'Rig GAS' will be over...
19. I respect him and appreciate his playing.... but do I like it? No, not really...
20. Wow! Great line up... Great song... Lovely bass playing on a gorgeous Wal... Beautiful Kate... Anyone know how to get that tone on their Wal? I can get close but are there other tricks being used?
21. Add me after Jon (Bassassin) please
22. You played bass in Corduroy?!? Wow! Love your work.... especially on the DadManCat album.... stunning! Great to have you on board here.... Sorry to go off thread, but what are you up to these days/who are you playing with?
23. I have to do a lot of singing (lead & bv's) while playing bass in my tr*b*te band and it took a while to master. Best advice I can give is learn the bassline until it's second nature then concentrate on the vocals afterwards....
24. Cheers chaps, pleasure dealing with you
