2.
Damn - that's tempting. Someone put me off by telling me they don't do much Dennis Dunaway era stuff! Jon.
Sorry, they do loads of the classic early stuff!
 3. I'm posting this on behalf of a good friend who plays 'Alice' in the superb Scottish 'Alice Cooper' tribute 'Gallus Cooper'... They require a new bassist, preferably in the Glasgow area or within easy travelling distance. Good gear and dedication required. Gigs lined up for 2009 including Glasgow Renfrew Ferry and a tour of some Academy venues. Anyone interested please contact Peter on: 07727 698451
 4. Google it...
 5. Hmmm.... I wonder if Arbiter will do a 'silly sale' on the Spectors they have left? Not that I need any more you understand.... Another interesting development is that Amazon are now officially selling Spectors.... see here: Amazon Spectors
 6. Just received this reply from my man at Spector... "Correct, no more Arbiter for us. We are talking to another distributor so that should be taken care of soon."
 7. Shocking story mate... I hope it can be fixed in the end.... yikes....
 8.
I was told that they have stopped by a Reverb store this afternoon. No details given just that they don't expect the situation to last long once people start shouting.
Hmmm... news to me... I'll check into it...
 9. Congrats! I'm loving my Genz Benz NEOX-212T!
 10.
True, but isn't your Nan the multi-millionairess leader of an international fine-art/antique forgers ring .
That was last month....

 12.
It's soooo not.
Bwahahaa!!!!! My old Nan could do a better faking job than that!!
 13.
we arnt on about the amp, im on about the bass link posted in the first post.... the amp pic was for comparing signatures
Can't see the link at work.... If it's of a signed 'Punisher' bass then the signature should be authentic...
 14. 1) Try to leave a Spector or two for others to buy... 2) Get a Greco or Epiphone Thunderbird in black and pimp its ass!!
 15. You're all talking bollox. It's an official ltd edition release of a head Ampeg made as Gene Simmons signature model. He didn't 'personally' sign it, but it is a printed facsimile of an autograph he did for them. I wouldn't buy it though.... it's just a normal Ampeg with a slightly different frontage....
 16. That's a beauty! Needs a tort pickguard on it though....
 17.
I bought it as is from a KISS fan up in Newcastle. Wipes the floor with my Silvertone Sovereign Pro *suprise suprise*/ My Washburns the best tho, it's the PS500. I got a 78 Greco Frehley copy too. Hopefully I shall be there and I'll say hello. What bass(es) are you gonna use?
Hey, I have the Washburn & Greco too.... along with the Silvertone (cracked mirror) and a rare Silvertone 'Preacher' prototype! Cool Basses I'll use in the show are an authentic custom built copy of his original 1976 Spector SB1 and a custom built Kramer 'Axe'. See you there!
 18.
im pretty sure he used spector at some point
Yep, he used a one-off custom design Spector (Based on an SB-1) from 1976-1980 and then again from 1990-1994 before it was sold at auction for over $20000. He also had another one-off (based on an SB-1 with slightly longer top horn) which he used from 1979-1984. He also used an NS2 in promo vids around 1985/86 and an NS2J in promo vids in 1985/86 and 1990. I'll get me anorak.....
 19.
Ah, Hamer - had to be really. RE the photo - Paul looks pretty different with his makeup off
Lol! So do I!
 20. Yep, it was a custom built Hamer Scarab.... Hamer Scarab Paul Stanley Custom
 21.
Cheers dude. Being quite the KISS fan I love Genes signature basses. I'm getting an Axe built for my collection, I'll have a guitar/bass for every member then. It'll take pride of place with my mirrorball Iceman Hopefully I shall see you at the Point in a couple of days. That's if I can get a ride there. I caught you at the Guitarfest about a year or two back, damn good band! Couldn't believe the amount of pyro for the size of the venue haha!
Ooh! Nice Iceman! Who did that for you? I have an original 1978 Paul Stanley signature Iceman in my collection but there ain't no way I'm letting my 'Paul' play it! lol! Cool! Come up and say 'Hi'! afterwards! Should be one helluva party - doors open at 6.30, the new Paul Stanley live DVD will be screened immediately, then we'll do a two hour show with all the pyro/firebreathing etc, hopefully at least one 'dancing girl' and thenBogiez rock club afterwards! That Guitarfest appearance was a last minute thing - glad you enjoyed it! We had to use their gear and just get up and play!
 22.
If you're going to con someone don't go around bragging about what you bought with the money it makes you look like a bigger c*nt than you already did.
+1,000,000
 23.
Allen has just PM'd me and said that if I take it to a tech he will pay for the repair. I've told him that this would require me to trust him and I am not in a position to do so following his earlier responses (and the fact that, like Jake's, this is a bit of a rearguard action). As I pointed out, I could end up with a £45 bill for the diagnostic process and still no amp or refund. Probably best to leave this be now. All that needs to be said has been said. Chris
Hey Allen, rather than do that and expect Beedster to trust you AGAIN... how about you just refund him the cost of the whole item + postage?!? If you want it back then you can pay the return postage too....
 24. It's OK, I'm here! ....and thanks for the 'UK God Of Thunder' comments After BC Rich produced the original prototypes (some of which had 4-in-a-line headstocks) Gene then took the design and (word is...) had them built by Fernandes for him to sell direct. I don't have proof of this... but Fernandes is the name most bandied around... They're nice basses.... a little neck heavy, but nice and punchy/growly!
