4. I purchased a Precision neck from a reputable eBay seller in the States on 24th December. It was shipped to me USPS on the 27th and turned up here yesterday with no charges! Result
5. I don't see a problem with pointing out that someone has priced their item too highly in the market as it currently stands. The seller may not realise.... and may wonder why it is not selling. In this particular case the seller is in Italy and could be unaware of the current 'going-rate' in the UK.
6.
That's quite a nifty Spector man!
Thanks Josh! I'll be sad to see it go.... it's so light on the shoulder.... but so full in tone!
7. Hard to believe I know.... but I'm selling one of my Spectors. Never fear though.... there is only ONE reason for this madness..... yep, I have a 'custom order' Spector on the way! Hence I've decided to thin the herd.... So....Here we have a very limited edition Czech-made bolt-on Spector NS2J-CR with 2 EMG jazz p'u's and EMG active circuit. Spector made VERY few of this model out of their Czech factory (preferring to keep them custom US only) and it is therefore a rare beauty.....! This model is basically a reissue of their early 80's NS2J model which is now highly collectable in its own right.... Body is high grade maple.... and neck is maple with a rosewood (pau ferro?) board. Very light in weight.... and tones from smooth to all out punchy growl. Very funky sounds from the J pickups, particularly with the bridge p/u solo'd. This bass is in excellent condition and comes with a soft gigbag. **SOLD**
8. I voted for the Infinity. Nice shape and the f-holes are tasty. I would have voted for the Streamer..... but why have a copy when you can have the original (Spector)?
9. Jap reissues can be had for £400 - £500 at the moment. USA reissues should be around the £700 mark I reckon....

11.
Interestingly enough, I grew up in 'ampton - and it was little: town - Hampton in Middlesex.
Ah, I know it well.... I'm in Hampton Wick... Welcome to the board Dave!
12.
LOL better than Amy Winehouse's garden Welcome TheBigBeefChief
As long as it's not Amy Winehouse's 'lady garden'..... if it's anything like her beehive it'd be a real mess!
13. It is a thing of beauty, to be sure....
14. I remember on the programme about 'rock/heavy metal' he played a galloping bassline and described it as "a red indian rhythm, often favoured by bassists like Steve Harris of Iron Maiden"
15. Walking out onto the stage at the Ariake Colliseum in Tokyo, Japan and hitting a huge low E on my Spector (through an old SVT) and feeling it go right through me as 14,000 people cheered....!
16. PJ & Stuart at Spector Mark at Sound Control head office
17. Hamer Impact bass: Fernandes 'Nikki Sixx Spector' copy: White Spector....a la 'Sting' - Synchronicity Nothing says '80's like a fretted & fretless Wal!:

19.
Sounds like a Bolt on legend 4 to me.
Agreed....
20. Try repricing this at £300 - £350 & you might get a bite.... As stated above, you're currently charging more than a brand new one imported directed from Japan....
21.
Hi Cetera, I'm pretty sure we met at the Wal Bash in Jan 2006 if I'm not mistaken when you brought your Wal & a lovely USA Spector along?? Great sounding basses as I recall..
That's right.... twas I...! I've picked up my fretless Wal Mk1 since then.... when's the next bash?
