  2. Love mine, super funky and musical
  3. I've never played a Kingston, but if they're anything like my Grendel, they'll be very nice. I did hear a Kingston being played live in a band on a French camp site in Brittany back in 2023. It sounded fantastic.
  4. Trickfish Minnow. Looking for £240 and I will cover postage in the UK. Based in Cambridge. Only a few months old and in excellent condition with only light home use. Has velco fixed but easily removable. Please note that Trickfish do not provide a 12v power supply with this unit. The Minnow is a high quality, low noise bass preamp DI pedal equipped with our Bullhead EQ section. This single channel Bullhead preamp features shelving EQ’s for the BASS and TREBLE controls and variable band pass EQ’s for the LO MID and HI MID. 6. Hell of a bass for the price! - honestly the MTD Kingstons made the last few years are fantastic, and you couldn’t get a more authentic Gospel sound

  11. It can be a real challenge to get good gear for a limited amount of cash. When I started gigging again after a long hiatus, I had a Hartke Kickback…120 watts through 1 12. Good practice and rehearsal amp. Next was a great deal on my Trace rig..smt 11 head..400 watts, a 4x10, and a 15”. Cabs are pretty shabby but sound good…just really heavy. Now I’m moving to 2 1x12 Genz Benz cabs, . If those work out, I’ll sell the 410 cab, refurb the 15, and should be ready for anything. Trace rig was £250, 2 GB cabs are 280….you don’t need to spend a ton to get good gear. I am going to spend some cash getting a tune up on the Trace head, though.
  12. A working band has "consumer" rights? Not likely. If a store buys a TV to use to play video and it dies prematurely that's tough luck.
  13. Bought a hiscox case from Lukasz and all smooth sailing. Shipped quickly and packaged up well. Would happily buy from him again. Many thanks!
  14. What's the collective noun for JMJ Mustangs?
  15. Travelling up to Teesside on Wednesday for work 5 days, can deliver or meet up if not too far off route which will be M1 mainly. Ta x
  16. I keep coming back to this... If I can sell a bass I currently have listed, I will have to give it a try!
